An excavation system is disclosed for use with an excavation machine having a work tool and with an IPCC. The excavation system may have a location device configured to generate a first signal indicative of a location of the excavation machine, a display, and at least one controller in communication with the location device and the display. The controller may be configured to receive a second signal indicative of a location of the IPCC, and to cause representations of the excavation machine and the IPCC to be simultaneously shown on the display based on the first and second signals. The at least one controller may also be configured to determine a swing radius of the work tool, and to selectively cause an indication of alignment between the IPCC and the swing radius to be shown on the display based on the first signal, the second signal, and the swing radius.

Excavation system having inter-machine monitoring and control

A method for controlling a mining truck travelling on a work site is disclosed. The method includes receiving payload information associated with a payload carried in a bed of the mining truck from sensors associated with the mining truck. The method further includes determining an imbalance of the payload based on the payload information. The method further includes receiving positioning data associated with the work site from a positioning system and determining an approaching terrain of the work site based on the positioning data. The method further includes planning a path for the mining truck based on the imbalance and the approaching terrain and controlling the mining truck based on the path.

Systems and methods for controlling fluid delivery on a site using at least one fluid delivery machine are disclosed. An exemplary such method includes identifying at least one path on the site based on map information associated with the site, calculating a fluid delivery requirement of the at least one path based on environmental information associated with the site, and dispatching a fluid delivery machine on a mission to treat the at least one path with fluid based on the fluid delivery requirement.

A control system implemented for in-pit crushing and conveying (IPCC) operations employing a shovel machine and a crusher machine is provided. The shovel machine includes an implement configured to excavate a material from a worksite and load the material into a hopper of the crusher machine. The control system includes a position determination module, an excavation determination module, and a path determination module. The path determination module is configured to determine one or more travel paths, with a plurality of loading positions, for the shovel machine and the crusher machine. The plurality of loading positions is based at least in part on the relative position of the shovel machine and the crusher machine and a plurality of excavation positions, such that at each of the plurality of loading positions, the implement traverses an arc passing above the hopper.

System and method for in-pit crushing and conveying operations

A system for regulating a dump rate of a truck is disclosed. The truck is configured to carry material and dump the material in a container. The system includes a first detection module and a controller in communication with the first detection module. The first detection module generates a signal indicative of a draw down rate of the container. The draw down rate corresponds to a rate at which the material is discharged from the container. The controller determines the draw down rate of the contained based on the signal received from the first detection module. The controller further determines a level of the material within the container based on the draw down rate. The controller then regulates the dump rate of the truck based on a relationship between the level of the material within the container and a threshold level.

A system for controlling a first machine performing a turn includes a controller configured to identify a desired turn for the first machine. The desired turn is formed by two adjacent traffic lanes. The two traffic lanes include a first traffic lane and a second traffic lane. The controller is further configured to receive information regarding a second machine and determine whether to control the first machine to follow a lane crossing path for performing the desired turn based on the received information. The lane crossing path includes a portion of the first traffic lane and a portion of the second traffic lane such that the first machine changes between the first traffic lane and the second traffic lane to perform the desired turn.

A control system is disclosed for use with a mobile loading machine operating at a first location and a plurality of mobile haul machines configured to move material received at the first location to a second location. The control system may have a plurality of control modules, each associated with one of the mobile loading machine and the plurality of mobile haul machines, and a worksite controller. The worksite controller may be configured to make a determination that a position of the mobile loading machine has changed, and to generate a new travel path for the plurality of mobile haul machines based on the determination. The worksite controller may also be configured to selectively communicate the new travel path to each of the plurality of control modules. A system for analyzing machine performance is disclosed. The system may have one or more processors and a memory. The memory may store instructions that, when executed, enable the one or more processors to identify an event for a machine that includes a desired output parameter value and send a command to a component of the machine. A command value associated with the command may be determined based on the desired output parameter value, one or more machine state parameter values, and a feedback control loop. The instructions may further enable the one or more processors to determine whether the machine requires maintenance by comparing the command value to one or more historical command values each determined based on a historical desired output parameter value and one or more historical machine state parameter values.

Th machine may also have a fluid delivery system configured to determine whether the location of the fluid delivery machine corresponds to a path segment of the sequence, and when it is determined that the location of the machine corresponds to a path segment in the sequence, to identify the fluid delivery amount allocated to that path segment based on the mission instructions.

A slippage condition response system for a first machine of a plurality of machines is disclosed. The response system may have a sensing system configured to sense a parameter indicative of a slippage condition of the first machine. Additionally, the response system may have a locator configured to sense a parameter indicative of a location of the first machine. The response system may also have a transmitter. In addition, the response system may have a controller, which may be in communication with the sensing system, the locator, and the transmitter. The controller may be configured to monitor the location of the first machine. The controller may also be configured to monitor the parameter indicative of a slippage condition of the first machine. Additionally, the controller may be configured to transmit to an offboard system at least one location where the first machine experienced a slippage condition.
