A device configured to generate haptic feedback is disclosed. The device includes a housing, a connector, and a haptic motor. The connector includes a mount end coupled to the housing and a distal end spaced away from the mount end. The haptic motor is coupled to the distal end of the connector. Activation of the haptic motor causes the haptic motor to move relative to the housing to generate the haptic feedback.

Tuning haptic feedback of a device

A connector assembly including a first intermediate connector member associated with a first device and having a first connector interface and a second intermediate connector having a second connector interface. The first intermediate connector and the second intermediate connector are movable between an interfaced state in which the first connector interface is in contact with the second connector, and a tethered state in which the first connector interface is spaced apart from the second connector interface. The connector assembly further includes a tether member connecting the first intermediate connector and the second intermediate connector in the tethered state. The tether may include a flexible body configured to control a path along at least an axis of either the first intermediate connector or the second intermediate connector during movement from the interfaced state to the tethered state.

Examples are disclosed that relate to display devices and mounting brackets for securing a bezel to a display device. In one example, a display device comprises a display unit and a bezel comprising at least one pocket. The display device comprises a mounting bracket comprising a display unit attachment portion affixed to the display unit and at least one tongue that extends at least partially into the at least one pocket. Adhesive binds the at least one tongue to at least one surface of the at least one pocket, thereby coupling the bezel to the display unit via the mounting bracket.

Thermal management devices and systems, and corresponding methods of cooling an electronic device are described herein. A method for cooling an electronic device that includes a housing and a vent in the housing includes monitoring, by a sensor, an operating condition of the electronic device. The vent is opened or closed based on the monitored condition of the electronic device.

Self-adaptive vents

A device for supporting an electronic display includes a base, a display mount having a first position and a second position relative to the base, and a connection mechanism positioned between the base and the display mount. The connection mechanism is configured to rotate and translate the display mount from the first position to the second position according to a torque curve. The torque curve includes a discovery stage adjacent the first position, an initiation stage rotationally after the discovery stage, and an approach stage rotationally after the initiation stage. The connection mechanism applies a force toward the first position in the discovery stage. The connection mechanism having an initiation force applied toward the first position that is greater than the force in the discovery stage. The approach stage having an approach force applied toward the second position.

A device for supporting an electronic display includes a base, a display mount, and a connection mechanism positioned between the base and the display mount. The display mount is movably connected to the base and movable between a first position and a second position. The connection mechanism is configured to couple a rotation of the display mount relative to base to a translation of the display mount relative to the base such that the display mount experiences rotation and translation when the display mount is moved between the first position and the second position.

An electrical connector includes a locking plug, a lock actuator, a strain relief, and an exterior mating surface. The locking plug includes a locking mechanism and the lock actuator is coupled to the locking mechanism. The strain relief is coupled to the locking plug and the exterior mating surface is coupled to the locking plug and axially moveable relative to the locking plug to move the lock actuator.

Systems and devices for maintaining an electrical connection

An enclosure assembly of a monitor device includes an enclosure cover having a cover wall extending substantially in a first plane between a plurality of sides, wherein the cover wall includes an interior surface and an opposing exterior surface. The enclosure assembly includes a first stiffener wing and a second stiffener wing each having one or more mounting portions spaced apart from one or more stiffener portions to define one or more wing body ribs, each mounting portion including a mounting surface opposing a corresponding portion of the interior surface of the cover wall. The first stiffener wing includes a first wing body that extends toward a first side of the enclosure cover, and the second stiffener wing includes a second wing body that extends to a second side of the enclosure cover. Additionally, a display and/or a base assembly may be mounted to the enclosure assembly.
