A concrete structure formed using an extender that connects to a web member at least partially disposed within a side panel. The extender may be used to extend the length of a connector that interconnects opposed side panels, used to provide additional surface area to which concrete can bond if, for example, forming a tilt-up wall, or used as a strapping location with a flexible linking member. Concrete structures and methods of forming the same using extenders

An insulated concrete structure including a side panel, a spaced-apart sheet such as plywood, and concrete disposed therebetween. The concrete is poured into a cavity formed between the side panel and the sheet and allowed to substantially cure, after which time the sheet can remain as part of the structure or be removed and used again in forming another concrete structure. Concrete structure

An insulated concrete structure including a longitudinally-extending side panel and at least one web member connected to the side panel. The web member extends from adjacent the external side of the side panel through and out of the interior surface of the side panel. The side panel is coupled to fluid concrete and cured to be used as a tilt-up wall, floor, or roof panel. Alternatively, the concrete can be bonded to opposed side panels . Tilt-up wall

A concrete structure formed using a web member that includes a latching system to frictionally hold connectors or the like in position. The latching system preferably has less frictional resistance to attaching the connector than for removing the same connector. Latching system for components used in forming concrete structures

An insulated concrete structure including at least one longitudinally-extending side panel and at least one web member partially disposed within the side panel. The web member extends from adjacent the external side of the side panel through and out of the interior surface of the side panel. The first embodiment of the present invention uses opposed side panels that form a cavity therebetween into which concrete is poured and cured. The second embodiment uses a single side panel as a form, onto which concrete is poured. Once the concrete cures on the single side panel, it is used as a tilt-up wall, floor, or roof panel.

Insulated concrete form

A ledge assembly for a concrete form system having longitudinally-extending side panels, a portion of the interior surface of one side panel facing and spaced apart from a portion of the interior surface of the other side panel, said ledge assembly comprising: a ledge panel having a lower edge, an upper edge and a generally planar panel body having an interior surface extending therebetween; at least one ledge web member, each ledge web member having an embedded portion embedded within the panel body, and an exposed portion extending outward of the interior surface of the panel body; and a plurality of attachment couplings arranged in a generally linear array along the exposed portion of each ledge web member, the generally linear array of attachment couplings forming an acute angle with said generally planar panel body. The ledge assembly forming a bearing surface integrated within the concrete structure when the ledge cavity is filled with concrete.

Concrete form system ledge assembly and method

A corner web member for an insulated concrete form system having a corner panel the corner web member comprising: a corner flange member, a bridging member, and a plurality of support struts, the proximal end of each support strut connected to the lower surface of the corner flange member and the distal end of each support strut connected to the top edge of the bridging member. The corner web member may also have a support flange member that is connected to the bottom edge of the bridging member. The corner web member is partially disposed within the corner panel so that the corner flange member and the proximal end of each support strut are integrally formed within said first side panel to be embedded therein. Further, a portion of said corner web member extends through the interior surface of said corner panel into the cavity between the two opposing corner panels.

Concrete form system and method

A connector link component for use in an insulated concrete form system having first and second side panels and at least two connectors, each side panel having an exterior surface, an opposed interior surface, and at least one attachment coupling, the panels arranged in spaced parallel relationship with their interior surfaces and attachment couplings facing each other so that a cavity is formed therebetween, each connector having a first end and a distal second end, a first length extending therebetween, and a pair of opposed connector couplings, one connector coupling formed in the first end and the other connector coupling formed in the second end, so that the each connector coupling of each connector is adapted to engage one attachment coupling of the side panel, the connector link having a proximal end, having a first link coupling for engagement to the connector coupling of one connector of the concrete form system, a distal end, having a second link coupling for engagement to the connector coupling of one other connector of the concrete form system, and a substantially rigid body portion extending between the proximal end and the distal end of the connector link so that the connector link may be operatively engaged to the opposed connectors to structurally connect one attachment coupling on one side panel to one other attachment coupling on the other side panel.

Concrete form system connector link and method

An insulated concrete form system including two longitudinally-extending side panels, each side panel having an exterior surface and an interior surface, wherein the interior surface of one side panel faces the interior surface of the other side panel and wherein the interior surfaces are laterally spaced apart from each other so that a cavity is formed therebetween, a longitudinally-extending wire re-bar disposed in the cavity formed between the side panels, and at least two connector members. The wire re-bar acts both as a bridging element between the two side panels and as the horizontal structural reinforcement of the concrete (or similar material) placed into the cavity between the side panels. A portion of each connector member is integrally formed within a portion of one side panel so that one connector member is formed within a portion of each of the side panels. Each connector member has an end plate and at least one gripping section, in which the gripping section is adapted to receive a portion of the wire re-bar therein. The gripping sections extend into the cavity formed between the side panels, wherein each connector member in one side panel is spaced apart from all other connector members in the other side panel.
