A system and method for mapping and modeling objects in GEO (geosynchronous) class orbits using one or more mapping satellites in conjunction with a ground-based system that will effectively map objects, model object orbits, and provide real-time monitoring, alerts, and real-time data to satellite operators for collision avoidance and situational awareness.

The present invention is an instrument for the rapid firing of a self-loading firearm in a manner which was not previously possible. Some exemplary embodiments of the present invention comprise a fire control group for firearms essentially conforming to semi-automatic fire control groups as known to the art with the addition of novel features, as described herein, which temporarily transfer hammer spring force to the trigger after the firearm has fired live ammunition, resulting in the urging of the trigger to its reset position by hammer spring force. This temporary use of hammer spring force to urge the trigger to its reset position enables more controllable rapid firing of the firearm and other attributes.

The present invention is an instrument for simulating malfunctions in firearms during live fire training which could not previously be simulated during live fire training. In some exemplary embodiments the invention approximately matches the external dimensions of an ammunition cartridge with the addition of novel features described herein which modify the interactions between the present invention, firearm magazine assembly and firearm such that a firearm malfunction desirable for malfunction resolution training is simulated. Some exemplary embodiments also include novel features described herein which serve to maintain a desired orientation of the invention in reference to an firearm magazine assembly, an ammunition cartridge or the firearm such that a particular type of firearm malfunction occurs. Some exemplary embodiments include multiple of said novel orientation features such that the user of the invention may select between multiple possible malfunction types.

A hanger includes a standard hook having a contoured shoulder section extending downward therefrom. A first, continuous and fixed shoulder terminates proximate to a flexible lower bar. The second shoulder terminates at a fixed, upper portion, but it remains connected to its lower portion by means of a tension arm therebetween. The lower portion of the second shoulder is continuous with and formed with the flexible lower bar such that a conventional hanger shape is formed. The tension arm, however, provides a means for the lower portion of the second shoulder to push upwards and away from the static portion so that an article of clothing can be secured between the lower bar and a horizontal, static arm that extends below it. A spring formed between the first shoulder and an egress in the lower bar closes the lower bar on the extension arm. The egress is gripped to press the lower bar against the first shoulder, wherein a gripping of the lower bar pushes the bottom portion of the second shoulder upwards so that clearance is formed between the lower bar and the arm so that pants can be slid therebetween.

A vertically adjustable work bucket apparatus includes a shell and a container, wherein the container is vertically adjustable within the shell. The shell includes a plurality of furrow series, wherein the furrows series each have a plurality of furrows, along the interior sidewall of the shell. The furrows are provided to receive, house and support corresponding ribs that are affixed to the exterior sidewall of the container. The container is radially rotated so that the ribs are aligned within the furrows to match a desired profile setting, including at least a maximum and minimum profile. The shell includes a plurality of rollers affixed to the bottom of the shell to allow for easy transportation and positioning of the apparatus.

A work bucket vertical extension apparatus provides a lower pedestal bucket, an upper, elevated bucket vertically aligned into a nested position above the lower pedestal bucket, an da a sliding track mechanism such that the internal volume of the upper bucket is sufficient to receive the upper, elevated bucket when nested.

An air filtration system includes a light weight container which stores a quantity of water for filtering contaminants from inhaled air. A coupling assembly is used to connect the container to a flexible hose for delivery of the filtered air to the dust mask worn by the user. The coupling assembly allows a user to interchange one light weight container with another in a quick and convenient manner if one container becomes saturated with contaminants. A user simply pulls downward on the slidable jacket to release the industrial plug and allowing the attachment of another container to the hose via the coupling assembly.

A cord holding harness includes a suspender-like strap arrangement fitting over the upper torso of the user and has a sleeve attached to one of the straps carrying a hook for engaging the cord of an appliance. A clip is attached to the straps so as to be normally positioned at the back of the wearer when the harness is in place so that the electrical cord of a tool or appliance can be retained out of the way of the appliance user.

A positioning apparatus operates to advance and rotationally orient a container during packaging of a product and broadly comprises a conveyor, a rotor assembly mounted to the conveyor, a rotary drive means and orientation sensing means. The rotor assembly includes a holder adapted to receive a container in a supported state with the supported container being aligned along the rotor axis such that the container may be rotated thereabout. The rotary drive means operates to selectively engage the rotor assembly and the supported container for rotatably orienting the supported container with respect to the rotor axis. The orientation sensing means monitors rotational orientation of the supported container, and the conveyor operates to advance the rotor assembly and the supported container during the packaging of the product.

An apparatus dispenses flowable material from a source and includes a dispensing nozzle that reciprocates along an axis. A metering assembly includes a metering cylinder, a metering element reciprocally movable in the interior of the metering cylinder and a switching valve to switch the metering assembly between a metering mode wherein material flows into the metering cylinder and thereby displaces the metering element and a discharge mode. A metering element drive moves the metering element into the metering cylinder during the discharge mode to displace material thereby to dispense material through dispensing nozzle. A lift bracket is mounted for common equidistant movement with the metering element, and the dispensing nozzle is interconnected to the lift bracket for equidistant movement in one direction.

The present invention provides a method and apparatus for slitting sheet material. The apparatus includes a first arbor shaft for mounting and rotatably driving a first rotary cutter. The first cutter is comprised of at least one rotary knife element having two opposite side faces, and the first arbor shaft is constructed to allow axially movement of the knife element along the first arbor shaft. A second arbor shaft mounts and rotatably drives a second rotary cutter. The second rotary cutter is comprised of at least one rotary knife element which has two opposite side faces and is movable axially along the second arbor shaft. The second arbor shaft is also selectively movable radially with respect to the first arbor shaft to provide a selected intermeshing overlap region between the first cutter knife element and the second cutter knife element. A resilient force means resiliently urges the first cutter knife element axially along the first arbor shaft to contact the second cutter knife, thereby providing a selected contact pressure and a substantially zero clearance between each pair of intermeshing faces of the first and second cutter knife elements at the overlap region. Drive means selectively rotate the first and second arbor shafts.
