An electronic air cleaning device (10) comprised of modular subassemblies including: an horizontal base (12), two vertical walls (14a) and (14b), vertical front and rear air filter (16a) and (16b), an electronic cell (22), an electric motor (80) with a fan (82) attached thereto, and a power supply (24), which walls (14a) and air filters (16a) and (16b) are interchangeable and symmetrically related, and which releasably engage one another to facilitate assembly/disassembly with the aid of simple tools.

A door and drawer front particularly for use in clean-rooms has an outer member and a recessed area having a top grasping surface and a bottom grasping surface extending back into the outer member. A cleaning access area is also provided. The intersections and corners of the member, the recess and the grasping surfaces forming rounded junctions to facilitate easy cleaning and disinfecting of the door and drawer front.

An operatory stool having an arcuate, body support arm positioned above the level of the stool seat is described. The body support arm is reversible for right- or left-handed use of the stool. The stool structure permits rapid interchange between the right- and the left-handed configurations by means of a rotatable mechanism between the body support arm and a connecting member between the body support arm and the seat, which permits rotation of the body support arm through a 180.degree. upwardly extending arc from one side of the connecting member to the other. Means are provided for locking the body support arm at dependent positions on either side of the connecting member. Additionally, a reversible locking mechanism for resisting rotation of the body support arm about the connecting member in a predetermined direction in a horizontal plane is provided.
