A line pull assembly for a prosthetic delivery device includes a rail assembly defining a rail cavity, a longitudinal axis and a hand-gripable slider assembly. The slider is mounted to the rail assembly for sliding movement along it. The slider has a body slidably mounted to the rail assembly, the body having an inner body portion within the rail cavity. A line receiver for receiving a pullable line sits within the inner body portion. A release ring is mounted around the rail assembly and is operably connected to the inner body portion. The slider is locked against sliding movement until the release ring is moved the unlocked position. In the unlocked position, the inner body portion is slideably moveable by sliding movement of the release ring to transfer a pulling force through the line receiver.

Line pull assembly for a prosthetic delivery device

An endovascular delivery device is disclosed. The device comprises a handle assembly at a distal end thereof and a top-cap assembly at a proximal end thereof. The top-cap assembly has an open configuration and a closed configuration and comprises: a capsule comprising an inner portion and an outer tubular portion and defining a cavity within the outer tubular portion, the cavity receiving the proximal portion of the endograft in the open configuration; and a retriever assembly having a body portion arranged and constructed to fit within the cavity of the capsule in the closed configuration. The device further comprises: a guide wire catheter extending through the handle assembly, the guide wire catheter being affixed at a proximal end thereof to the top-cap assembly; and an endograft receiving portion extending distally with respect to the top-cap assembly. In the closed configuration, the cavity is closed by the body portion of the retriever assembly.

Endovascular delivery device having an improved top-cap assembly

An endovascular delivery device comprises an outer handle with a track; an inner handle moveable relative to the outer handle; a tip assembly slider mounted on the track; the tip assembly having a top cap and a retriever, the top cap comprising a mouth receiving a proximal portion of the endograft and closable by the retriever; a connector extending from the tip to the inner handle and including a distal portion slidably engaging the inner handle; a pusher catheter extending from the outer handle assembly; a guidewire catheter; a distal trigger wire operable to release the distal end of the endograft; a proximal trigger wire release slider mounted on the track and movable from an initial to a triggered position, wherein the tip assembly slider engages the trigger wire release slider to prevent distal movement until the trigger wire release slider is moved distally.

Endograft delivery device assembly

An introducer and a delivery assembly for introduction of a prosthesis into a bodily lumen is disclosed. The introducer comprises: a sheath; a housing mounted to a distal end of the sheath, the housing having a passage there-through adapted to receive a delivery assembly; a port for introducing flushing fluid, the port communicating with the passage; and a liquid absorbing seal for sealably receiving the delivery assembly, the liquid absorbing seal disposed within the housing distally of the port. The delivery assembly comprises: a guide wire catheter; a tip mounted to a proximal end of the guide wire catheter; a distal delivery member mounted around the guide wire catheter and located distal of the tip; and a prosthesis receiving portion between the tip and the distal delivery member. The delivery assembly is slidably mounted through the introducer. Absorption of fluid swells the liquid absorbing seal.

Introducer for introduction of a prosthesis into a lumen of a patient

An endograft delivery device assembly is disclosed. The assembly comprises: a tip; a guide wire cannula, the guide wire cannula; a pusher disposed around the guide wire cannula, the pusher having a sheath assembly receiving portion at a proximal end thereof and a main portion extending distally from the sheath assembly receiving portion to a distal end, the sheath assembly receiving portion having at least one longitudinally extending groove; and a sheath assembly slidably mounted to the sheath assembly receiving portion of the pusher. The sheath assembly has a sheath portion, mountable over a endograft, and slide connecter portion. The slide connector portion has at least one inwardly projecting key, the key keying with the groove. The sheath assembly is slidably movable from an extended position over the endograft to a retracted position in which the endograft is uncovered.
