A first server includes a processor and a memory accessible to the processor. The memory bears instructions executable by the processor to determine that a server is present that has not had settings other than at most default settings applied to a basic input output system (BIOS) executable by the server to boot the server. The instructions are also executable by the processor to, based at least in part on a determination that the server is the same model of server as the apparatus, has the same BIOS version as the apparatus, and/or has the same baseboard management controller (BMC) version as the apparatus, facilitate over a peer to peer server network at least some settings in the apparatus to be provisioned to the server to establish the at least some settings in the server.

One embodiment provides a system, including: one or more processors; a network interface for communication with a remote bank of available storage; a redundant array of independent disks (RAID) operatively coupled to the one or more processors; and a memory operatively coupled to the one or more processors and storing instructions executable by the one or more processors to: ascertain at least one unavailable hard disk drive (HDD) of the RAID; determine an available remote storage target; dynamically update a storage destination for data to be stored from the at least one unavailable HDD of the RAID to the available remote storage target; and send the data over the network interface to the available remote storage target. A method and system for managing power in a computer system is disclosed. The computer system includes a host. The method and system include providing a Universal Serial Bus (USB) hub, at least one USB connector and attach/removal detection logic. The at least one USB connector is coupled with the USB hub. The attach/removal detection logic is coupled with the USB hub. The attach/removal detection logic determines whether a USB device is connected to the at least one USB connector, logically decouples the USB hub from the host if the USB device is not connected to the at least one USB connector and logically couples the USB hub to the host if the USB device is connected to the at least one USB connector.
