Certain implementations of the disclosed technology may include systems, methods, and apparatus for inferring the performance of rejected credit applicants using non-tradeline data. According to an example implementation, a method is provided for evaluating factors that may indicate financial distress and/or future credit performance associated with an applicant. In an example implementation, the method may include receiving applicant information associated with an applicant of a credit application. Responsive to a query, the method may include receiving by at least one processor, non-tradeline data related to the applicant. The method includes scoring, using a predictive scoring model, and based at least in part on the non-tradeline data, a prediction of the applicant's future credit performance. The method includes generating, based on the scoring, an estimated credit performance of the applicant over a predetermined period; and outputting an indication of the estimated credit performance.

Systems and methods for inferring the performance of rejected credit applicants

Certain embodiments of the invention may include systems, methods, and apparatus for determining fraud risk associated with a credit application. According to an exemplary embodiment of the invention, a method is provided for receiving applicant information associated with the application; searching one or more consumer identity repositories for prior usage of the applicant information; generating a plurality of identity characteristics corresponding to the prior usage of the applicant information; assigning the application to one of a plurality of segments based at least in part on the searching; scoring the application with a predictive scoring model to determine a risk score based at least in part on the identity characteristics; determining identity fraud risk types associated with the application; and outputting the risk score and one or more indicators of the determined identity fraud risk types.

Systems and methods for segmented risk scoring of identity fraud

The present invention is a method and apparatus that uses a plurality of predetermined segments to group credit applicants to evaluate each applicant's credit risk. The segments are based on at least one of reported trades, reported delinquency, bank card utilization, and length of said credit history. A score is generated for each applicant based on a unique scorecard designed for each segment The unique scorecards allow more accurate credit risk assessment by evaluating each applicant in view of that segment's tendency to be bad credit risks.
