A polymerization process is provided. For example, a polymerization process is described, including providing a catalyst slurry having a metallocene catalyst and a first oil, providing a transport medium including a second oil and combining the transport medium and the catalyst slurry to form a catalyst mixture. The process may further include introducing the catalyst mixture to a polymerization reactor and contacting olefin monomers with the catalyst mixture to polymerize the olefin monomers and form polyolefins.

Methods of delivering catalyst systems for propylene polymerization

Branched crystalline polypropylene compositions and methods for the preparation of branched crystalline polypropylene compositions are provided. For example, described herein is a process of preparing a branched crystalline polypropylene composition that includes combining two or more different metallocene catalyst compounds with a polymerization medium that includes propylene, for a time sufficient to provide branched crystalline polypropylene that has from 0.0 wt % to 2.0 wt % ethylene and a heat of fusion of 70 J/g or more.

A polymerization process is provided. For example, a polymerization process is described, including contacting olefin monomers with a supported metallocene catalyst to polymerize the olefin monomers and form a product mixture that includes polyolefins macromers or polymers, unreacted or partially reacted olefin monomers, alcohols and organohalides. The polymerization process further includes removing a portion of the product mixture to form a recycle stream and passing the recycle stream through a removal device comprising zeolite particles having pore size of from 6 to 16 &#x212b; to transfer at least a portion of the alcohols and organohalides from the recycle stream to the removal device providing a purified recycle stream having alcohols and organohalides in an amount of 1 ppm or less. The polymerization process may further include contacting at least a portion of the purified recycle stream with the supported metallocene catalyst to form polyolefins.

Methods of feed purification for olefin polymerization

This invention relates to metallocene compositions and their use in the preparation of catalyst systems for olefin polymerization, particularly propylene polymerization. The metallocene compositions may be represented by the formula:wherein Rare identical or different and are each a halogen atom, a C-Calkyl group which may be halogenated, a C-Caryl group which may be halogenated, a C-Calkenyl group, a C-C-arylalkyl group, a C-Calkylaryl group, a C-Carylalkenyl group, a &#x2014;NR', &#x2014;SR&#x2032;, &#x2014;OR&#x2032;, &#x2014;OSiR&#x2032;or &#x2014;PR&#x2032;radical, wherein R&#x2032; is one of a halogen atom, a C-Calkyl group, or a C-Caryl group, and Rand Rare identical or different and are a Group 14 radical having from 1 to 20 carbon atoms or are each primary, secondary or tertiary butyl groups, aryl groups, isopropyl groups, fluoroalkyl groups, trialkyl silyl groups, or other groups of similar size.
