An apparatus for drawing medicine from a medicine container into a syringe is disclosed. The apparatus includes a base, and support frames extending from the base. The apparatus includes a top platform and a bottom platform. The bottom platform includes a fixed platform and a moveable platform. The moveable platform operably extends and retracts into the fixed platform along the support frames at the bottom of the fixed platform. The top platform positions above the bottom platform and receives a medicine container facing the bottom platform. The medicine container stores medicine. The fixed platform is configured to hold a flange of a syringe, and the moveable platform is configured to hold a plunger of the syringe. The moveable platform slides down from the fixed platform along the support frames engaging the plunger. The movement of the moveable platform draws medicine from the medicine container into the syringe.

Some embodiments of the invention provide a program for recovering access to a service associated with an account. The program provides a login credential to log into the account to receive the associated service. Next, the program receives an access continuation parameter (ACP) after logging into the account. The program then accesses the service and receives a rejection of a subsequent access to the service. The program then provides the ACP in lieu of the login credential to continue to receive the service.

According to one embodiment, a method includes obtaining a media composition for display on an electronic display device is obtained. The media composition includes a plurality of layers, with each layer including a visual element. The embodiments set forth systems and techniques to authenticate a user device for device services, such as by transferring or extending a trusted device status from a separate and trusted associated user device, which can be paired with the user device. This can be done automatically without requiring the user to sign in at or on behalf of the user device, and the automated process can include verifying a trusted status for the associated user device, receiving data items from both devices, evaluating the data items, and facilitating an authentication of the user device when the evaluating returns a favorable result. Data items can include provisioned machine identifiers, temporally limited one-time user passwords, and a provisioned password reset key. Authentication or trusted device status transfer can be achieved by way of an authentication token that is given to the user device.

Disclosed herein is a technique for migrating data between a first device and a second device via a private wireless network hosted by the first device. According to some embodiments, the private wireless network is established based on a code generated by the first device. The second device derives wireless network parameters associated with the private wireless network and connects to the private wireless network. In turn, the data migration can commence when a connection between the first device and the second device has been established.

Some embodiments provide, for a particular device in a set of related devices, a method for backing up data synchronized between the set of related devices. The method stores the backup data encrypted with a set of data encryption keys. The method also stores the set of data encryption keys encrypted with a master recovery key. The method also stores several copies of master recovery key data, each copy of the master recovery key data encrypted with a public key of a different one of the related devices. The backup data is only recoverable by accessing a private key of any one of the related devices.

The method also, based on the assessment, selects a recovery process from a group of different recovery processes for regaining access to the account. To perform a restricted action, such as access a restricted content item, a subordinate user account can transmit a permission request to an authorizing user account. The permission request can request authorization from the authorizing user account to perform the restricted action. The permission request can be transmitted to one or more client devices of the authorizing user account, and enable to the authorizing user account to remotely select to approve or deny the permission request, thereby either granting or denying the subordinate user account from performing the restricted action. In addition to approving or denying a permission request, an authorizing user account can also be enabled to ignore a permission request, thereby allowing the authorizing user account to respond to the permission request at a later time. Further, in some embodiments, an authorizing user account can select to deny all further permission requests to perform the restricted action.

Some embodiments of the invention provide a program for recovering access to an account. The program receives an access recovery parameter (ARP) after providing a first credential to log into an account and providing a notification of a second credential necessary for accessing another resource. The program then receives a request to modify the first credential and receives the second credential. Next, after authenticating the second credential, the program uses the ARP to modify the first credential without providing the first credential.
