A crash-ready, portable, item compartmentalization device may include a shell which includes a first half shell and a second half shell. The first half shell and the second half shell may have substantially similar dimensions and define an interior space and an exterior space. One or more pouches may be removably coupled to the shell in the interior space. The crash-ready, portable, item compartmentalization device may be relocated throughout the interior of an emergency vehicle when used with an equipment mounting system or taken to the field for use away from the emergency vehicle. The individual pouches may also be removed and replaced with stocked pouches to replenish the crash-ready, portable, item compartmentalization device.

An equipment mounting system may include a quick mount track having a backing plate with a center slot, a first outer slot, and a second outer slot, the first outer slot and the second outer slot comprise a plurality of diamond contour target regions, and a plurality of locking pin apertures along the center slot in the backing plate, the locking pin apertures are in horizontal alignment with the plurality of diamond contoured target regions. The equipment mounting system also may include a mount removably coupled to the quick mount track wherein the plurality of diamond contour target regions allow for a round head of a t-shaped stud of the mount to engage the first outer slot and the second outer slot at an angle to the backing plate.

A track mounting system including a mount with a mounting plate with a back surface and a front surface, the back surface is opposite the front surface and at least one mounting stud coupled to the back surface of the mounting plate, each mounting stud includes a stem portion that extends outwardly from the back surface and an enlarged head portion disposed at a distal end of stem portion. The mount also includes a release mechanism coupled to the front surface to release the mount from a track. The track mounting system also includes an adaptor coupled to the front surface of the mounting plate wherein the adaptor releasably couples with an equipment interface of a piece of equipment.

One or more pouches () are removably coupled to the shell () in the interior space (). An equipment mounting system includes a quick mount track () with tapered edges () couple to a surface or structure. The quick mount track includes a backing plate (), one or more mounting points positioned such that any forces exerted on a mount () coupled to the quick mount track is transferred directly through the quick mount track to the one or more mounting points. The quick mount track also includes a flush mounting surface () that creates and maintains a seal between the quick mount track and the surface, and a chase () is disposed in the quick mount track and defined by the flush mounting surface. A plurality of diamond contoured target regions () and a plurality of half diamond contour regions in the backing plate aid in coupling the mount to the quick mount track.

A patient transport device for transporting a patient secured to a secured area thereof may include a first restraint arm disposed about a first longitudinal side of the secured area and a second restraint arm disposed about a second longitudinal side of the secured area opposite the first longitudinal side of the secured area. A head-cage restraint arm may further be disposed about a third leading end of the secured area between the first and second longitudinal sides of the secured area. The first restraint arm, the second restraint arm and the head-cage restraint arm may be operable to transition between an open configuration and a restrained configuration relative to the secured area.
