A child proof safety latch for a cabinet door or drawer. The safety latch includes a base plate receivable on the door, with a hook extending from the base plate to engage the cabinet. A holding plate is provided to locate the base plate, and the holding plate and base plate have teeth for ratchet adjustment of the base plate. A screw passes through the holding plate and the base plate to secure the latch to the door, and the latch is rotatable to place the hook in a position so the hook will not engage the cabinet. The latch therefore has an operable position and an inoperable position.

A child proof safety latch for a cabinet door or drawer. The safety latch includes a U-shaped mounting bracket that can be slipped over the edge of the door or drawer without screws or other fasteners. A hook assembly engages the mounting bracket with ratchet teeth so the hook member can be moved into locking position after the safety latch is in place on the closure. The hook member is carried on a base plate, and the base plate may have a knob to keep the hook assembly aligned for easy motion.

Combined massager and back scratcher

A sprayer for a squeeze type bottle, the sprayer having spray, stream, and off conditions. A body is used as a closure for the bottle, and passages are defined within the body. The air passage is close to a mixing chamber, and the liquid must pass through a dip tube, through feed tubes, then into the side of a stream of air so the liquid is broken up by the turbulence. After mixing, the spray passes through an orifice in a ring. The ring may be shifted to block the mixing chamber and cause the orifice to be aligned with a liquid passageway to provide a steady stream of liquid from the container, or the ring may be shifted to block all passages to place the sprayer in an off condition.

Sprayer for squeeze bottle

A child-resistant nozzle connectable to a spray dispensing device. The child-resistant nozzle assembly of the present invention includes a nozzle having a slot in the upstream end for receipt of a lug connected to the pump body. The lug may be depressed by the fingers of the user to selectively engage or disengage the slot in the nozzle. When the lug is engaged in the slot in the nozzle, no liquids can leak or be dispensed from the nozzle.

A fluid pump dispenser includes a nozzle structure having a flexible member which functions as an outlet check valve and O-ring seal, and which cooperates with a threaded nozzle cap to vary the discharge pattern of the dispenser responsive to twisting adjustment of the cap. Fluid is discharged through the nozzle structure by actuating a trigger to reduce the volume of a pump chamber in communication with the outlet check valve. The volume of the pump chamber may be reduced by operating a piston within the chamber or by flexing a wall of a tubular member having an open end in communication with the outlet valve.

Fluid dispenser and nozzle structure

A fluid pump dispenser includes a dispenser trigger which may be located in pivotable engagement with the dispenser housing and pump piston after shipment. The initial actuation of the trigger moves the pump piston and a container conduit, engaged thereto, to open a container vent shipping seal provided by mating surfaces on the conduit and the container cap. Fluid carried from the container by the conduit enters the pump chamber through a central orifice in the piston. A flexible member located on the piston functions as an inlet check valve for the conduit and as a piston ring. The fluid dispenser also includes a nozzle structure having a flexible member which functions as an outlet check valve and O-ring seal, and which cooperates with a threaded nozzle cap to vary the discharge pattern of the dispenser responsive to twisting adjustment of the cap.

Fluid dispenser method and apparatus

A one-piece molded fluid filter for a fluid dispenser dip tube includes two circular plate portions, at least one having radially extending ribs which define a plurality of fluid passages between the plates. A tubular portion, extending coaxially from the upper of the plates, is adapted for engaging the dip tube and providing communication between the dip tube and the passages. A member extending coaxially from the lower of the plates is provided for insertion into the tubular portion to pressurely engage the tubular portion to maintain the plates adjacent one another. The plates are connected along portions of their circumferences by an integral hinge and may be pivoted with respect to one another about the hinge to expose the ribs for cleaning.
