This disclosure provides electrostatic discharge (ESD) mitigation devices. In one or more embodiments, the electrostatic discharge (ESD) mitigation device is a tubing connector to connect two or more conductive tubing segments in a fluid circuit, the tubing connector including an electrically conductive connector body with two or more attachment portions, two or more attachment fittings, and a conductive bracket configured to attach and interface with the connector body to electrically connect the connector body to ground.

Electrostatic discharge mitigation device

A fluid circuit includes a plurality of tubing segments and a plurality of operative components. Each tubing segment includes i) a non-conductive polymer portion defining a fluid passageway and ii) one or more interior conductive fluoropolymer stripes extending axially to the ends of each of the respective tubing segments. Each operative component includes a conductive fluoropolymer that extends between a plurality of tubing connector fittings forming a part of the fluid circuit, wherein each of the tubing connector fittings conductively connect the respective conductor of the operative component to the interior conductive fluoropolymer stripes of the tubing segment to provide a path to ground that extends through each operative component and each tubing segment.

Fluid circuit with integrated electrostatic discharge mitigation

A breakseal providing desired compliance characteristics for a reliable seal between the fitment of a liquid dispenser and the breakseal. A compliant material is provided on the non-wetted face of the breakseal, enabling compliance of the breakseal on a wetted face for sealing between the breakseal and the mating component. The breakseal may also include raised features on segments that are separated after rupturing that prevent or mitigate scoring of O-ring seals upon probe insertion. A wiping feature that provides redundant sealing between the breakseal and a mating cap or other mating connection may also be incorporated into the breakseal. The breakseal can also include a flat on an outer perimeter that may serve as a gate for injection molding, so that any gate vestige from the molding process will not protrude beyond the outer diameter of the breakseal to cause unwanted interference between the breakseal and the mating connection.

Breakseal for a liquid dispensing system

A fluid dispense system for use with a drum having a drum insert configured to couple with a bung included on a drum, the drum insert having an upper portion and a drum insert down tube extending therefrom into an interior of the drum. The system further having a dispense head configured to couple with the drum insert, the dispense head having first and second conduits, each having a valve assembly, the valve assemblies in operable communication with the drum insert when the dispense head is coupled with the drum insert. When the dispense head is coupled with the drum insert the first and second valve assemblies are effected to an open position enabling fluid to flow through the conduits. When the dispense head is not coupled with the drum insert the first and second valve assemblies are biased to a closed position inhibiting fluid from flowing through the conduits.

High-volume fluid dispense system

A valve has a contractible valve element formed of an inner laminae of PFA, an outer laminae of PTFE with the outer laminae having a boss to provide positive compression and positive distension of the valve element. The portion that constrict is welded to a PFA tubular end portion thus providing the advantages of a PTFE laminae with a boss and the PFA what it surfaces. The valve utilizes a valve mechanism which has a yoke which moves radially towards and away from the contractible valve element with linkages extending from yoke arms which connect to opposite sides of the contractible valve element. The valve element may thus be positively closed and positively opened. The hermetic seal between the outer PTFE laminae and the inner PFA laminae causes the inner laminae to extend outwardly when the outer laminae is positively distended thereby allowing the valve function where the fluid being controlled is under a negative pressure. The invention also includes the method of manufacturing the multiple layered valve element.

Pinch element plastic valve

A composite sanitary fitting in which an inner body portion is secured within a overmolded stiffening sleeve which provides strength and rigidity to the fitting. The main body is comprised of a plastic such as PFA and the outer stiffening sleeve is comprised of a more rigid durable plastic such as PEEK. The main body portion has a flange portion which at the connecting end. The stiffening sleeve has an U-shaped portion extends around three sides of the flange locking the sleeve on the body portion.

Composite plastic sanitary fitting

The invention disclosed is a weir valve with an adjustable bypass incorporated into the weir portion of the valve housing. The valve housing has an interior chamber with an inlet portion, a middle portion and outlet portion. An elongate weir traverses the middle portion of the interior chamber and separates the inlet portion and outlet portion. The top surface of the weir defines a valve seat. A diaphragm traverses the interior chamber and is moveable by a compressor onto the weir effecting a closure of the valve. The adjustable bypass consists of a bypass chamber which extends longitudinally of the elongate weir with inlet and outlet openings centrally located on the sides of the weir between the bypass chamber and the inlet portion and outlet portion respectively. A bypass valve member is adjustably moveable in the bypass chamber to variably restrict the communication between the inlet and outlet openings.

A position indicating valve for controlling the flow of fluids includes a flow housing with a valve seat and a valve poppet. A control housing is provided adjoining the flow housing with a centrally located, nonrotating valve stem having inward and outward ends. The stem is connected to the valve poppet at its inward end and is threaded at its outward end with an intermediate portion being threaded oppositely. An operating handle is rotatably mounted to the control housing with a configured central aperture therethrough into which the threaded outward end of the stem extends. A configured position indicator and stop is threadably mounted on the outward end of the stem within the aperture and is adapted to actually move inwardly and outwardly of the handle as the handle is rotated. A rotatable coupling is located partially within the control housing and is interlockable with the handle and threadably mounted to and about the stem at the threaded intermediate portion. The coupling is adapted to axially move the stem, the valve poppet and the indictor in the same direction with rotation of the operating handle. The indicator has a greater magnitude of movement than the poppet.

A free draining, corrosive resistent valve for regulating the flow of corrosive fluids therethrough includes a plastic valve housing. An inlet passage extends into the housing and upwardly therein terminating in a valve seat. An inclined panel surrounds the inlet passage below the valve seat. An outlet passage extends from the lower most portion of the inclined panel through the housing. A plastic valve poppet is located above the seat having a diaphragm therearound with an upwardly extending stem. A plastic retainer is located above the diaphragm into which the stem extends. The retainer is adapted for affixing the diaphragm is a sealing relationship to the valve housing.
