Systems, methods and non-transitory computer readable media for allowing a user to switch between wearable items that have been paired or associated with an electronic device, such as a smartphone, are described. In one embodiment, the wearable items automatically detect a removal of a first wearable item from a user's body and an attachment of a second wearable item to the user's body. Messages from the wearable items are transmitted to the electronic device to allow the electronic device to switch the active wearable item from the first wearable item to the second wearable item. The switch can occur while the electronic device is in a locked state, and the electronic device can synchronize the second wearable item with data received from the first wearable item. Other embodiments are also described.

Switching between watches or other accessories

Migration of a pairing of wearable device to a new companion electronic device is disclosed. In one embodiment, pairing migration is performed by syncing and verifying a migration key in the wearable and new companion device. Pairing migration includes moving settings and pairing data of the wearable to the new companion device in response to detecting the wearable is associated with the migration key, wherein the migration key establishes a validation of trust of the wearable relative to the companion device. The settings and pairing data can include configuration and protected data and one or more keys to establish a trust relationship between the wearable and new companion device. The settings and pairing data can also include device data such that the wearable can be discoverable by the new companion device.

Migration for wearable to new companion device

In some implementations, a computing device can transfer a playback queue between the computing device and a playback device. For example, the computing device can detect when the computing device is within a threshold distance of a playback device. The computing device can establish a connection to the playback device and receive state information describing the media playback state of the playback device. The computing device can determine the media playback state of the computing device. The computing device can present graphical user interfaces for initiating a transfer of a playback queue between the computing device and the playback device based on the playback state of the devices. The computing device can initiate a transfer of the playback queue in response to user input to one of the graphical user interfaces or automatically based on the context of the computing device.

Transferring playback queues between devices

In some implementations, a computing system can be configured so that a first user device can delegate a first user's media account credentials to second user device corresponding to a second user. For example, a playback device may be configured with the second user's media account credentials for accessing media items through a network media service. A first user may wish to play media items associated with the first user's media account credentials on the playback device. To do so, the first user device can request a device identifier for the playback device, request and obtain a delegate token for the device identifier from the media service, and provide the delegate token along with media item information to the playback device. The playback device can then use the delegate token to request the media item associated with the first user's media access account.

Systems, methods and non-transitory computer readable media for allowing a user to switch between wearable accessories can scan for one or more on-body states from one or more paired accessories, determine based on a difference in on-body states that a switch between accessories has occurred, the switch being to a second accessory from a first accessory, and transmit synchronization data to the second accessory in response to determining that the second accessory has established a communication connection for data exchange with the companion device. Other embodiments are also described.

Systems, methods and non-transitory computer readable media for allowing a user to switch between watches that have been paired with a device such as a smartphone are described. In one embodiment, the watches automatically detect a removal of a first watch from a user's wrist and an attachment of a second watch to the user's wrist. Messages from the watches are transmitted to the device to allow the device to switch the active watch from the first watch to the second watch. The switch can occur while the device is in a locked state, and the device can synchronize the second watch with data received from the first watch. Other embodiments are also described.

Switching between watches

A technique developed for simulation of constrained particle systems is applied to the visualization and manipulation of colors, both in isolation and relation to each other, in one or more color spaces. Utilizing the technique, a first color can be adjusted to a second color in a first color space subject to one or more objectives between the first and second colors in the first color space; one or more constraints for adjustment of first and second colors in the first color space; and/or one or more constraints and/or objectives between the adjustment of the first and second colors in the first color space and an adjustment of a corresponding first color in a second color space to a second color in the second color space.
