Systems and methods for reducing health risks with respect to an infectious disease in buildings. Health data for an infectious diseases is used to determine a health risk level for building spaces and individuals in the building. An air handling action or a disinfection action is performed based on the health risk level.

Air quality control and disinfection system

A building management system (BMS) for filtering a fluid within a building is shown. The system includes one or more sensors configured to measure one or more characteristics of a first fluid within an air duct of the BMS and measure one or more characteristics of a second fluid after the second fluid has been filtered. The system further includes a pollutant management system configured to receive data from the one or more sensors and control a filtration process. The filtration process selects a filter of a plurality of filters based on at least one of a level of the one or more characteristics of the first fluid or the one or more characteristics of the second fluid.

Systems and methods for optimizing ventilation, filtration, and conditioning schemes for buildings

A building management system (BMS) for filtering a fluid within a building is shown. The system includes one or more sensors configured to measure one or more characteristics of a first fluid within an air duct of the BMS and measure one or more characteristics of a second fluid after the second fluid has been filtered. The system further includes a pollutant management system configured to receive data from the one or more sensors and control a filtration process. The filtration process selects a filter of a plurality of filters based on a level of the one or more characteristics of the first fluid and the one or more characteristics of the second fluid.

A computer system receives a query and converts the query into one or more input data types each associated with a respective piece of input constraint data, and one or more output datatypes corresponding to desired data. A data path workflow scheme is created from the datatypes and a catalog of data path modules each of which has defined datatype of its input(s) and output(s) by building candidate data paths forward from the input and rearward from the output of the data path until data paths from all of the outputs connect with at least one of the data path inputs. The data path is then optimized and converted to an executable code data procedure and then run with the constraint data as the input to the procedure. The results can be displayed to a user display device by presentation modules based on the datatype of the output.

System and method for computerized data processing, analysis and display

The golf flagstick with ball retrieval attachment is designed to assist a player in removing a golf ball from a golf cup after the player has played the ball into the cup. The golf flagstick includes a flag mounted proximate a top end of the golf flagstick and a ball retrieval attachment mounted proximate a bottom end of the golf flagstick. The ball retrieval attachment includes a ball retrieval body mounted on the flagstick using a ball retrieval fastener and adjustment mechanism. The ball retrieval fastener and adjustment mechanism allows for height adjustable attachment of the ball retrieval body on the flagstick to compensate for different golf cup depths.

An apparatus and method are provided that enable the control of a screening operation based on a calculated screen blockage percentage and the velocity throughput of the screen. The apparatus includes an upstream level detector, a downstream level detector and flume or weir placed downstream of the screen. The apparatus may further include a blockage determination unit which determines the percent screen blockage based on the flow level upstream of the screen and the flow level downstream of the screen.

A bait bridle is uniquely designed to connect a hook to bait while allowing the entire hook to be exposed for enhanced hooking capabilities and free movement of the bait. The addition of a small elastic band to the hook end of the bridle holds the hook firmly in place, yet allows easy removal when desired. The re-usable bridle system of the present invention can be switched from one hook to another hook with no damage to bait or the bridle. The bridle system of the present invention allows for free movement of the bait and full exposure of the hook. The bait bridle can be easily opened and closed to placement or removal of bait with the bridle on or off the hook.

An apparatus and method are provided that enable the control of a screening operation based on a calculated screen blockage percentage and the velocity throughput of the screen. The apparatus includes an upstream level detector, a downstream level detector and a flow determining device which determines the volumetric flow through the screen. The apparatus may further include a blockage determination unit which determines the percent screen blockage based on the flow level upstream of the screen, the flow level downstream of the screen and the volumetric flow.

A system and method for viewing a fax document includes a fax device which may be configured for transmitting/receiving fax transmissions. When a transmitting fax device with a video camera and a video display transmits a fax transmission to a receiving fax device with a video camera and a video display, and the receiving fax device receives the fax transmission, the transmitting fax device controls the receiving fax device until the fax transmission ends. An image of the fax transmission may then be previewed on the transmitting fax device, the fax transmission may then be electronically released from the receiving fax device, and an image of the fax transmission may then be printed. The video camera of the receiving fax device may then scan the printed image, display the scanned printed image, and physically release the scanned printed document from the receiving fax device.

Method and system for viewing a fax document

The golf training device comprises an arm band for attachment on the lead arm, above the elbow, and a resilient cord securable at one end to the arm band and having means at the other end for selectively attaching the cord on a golf club below the grip. A general method aspect of the invention comprises attaching an arm band to the golfer's leading arm above the elbow, connecting a resilient cord from the arm band to an attachment means on the club below the grip, assuming a stance by holding the grip of the club with both hands so that the club shaft extends in front and between legs of the golfer, and extending the hands to stretch the cord between the arm band and the shaft until the club head is in a desired position. The golfer maintains the stretch in the cord while moving the club back and forth in either a short or full swing. The training aid has several adjustable features that enable personalization as to fitting the body size and type of each golfer, and repositioning from use to use as the golfer's swing improves.

A system for transporting and dewatering solids in a fluid system. An auger is used to transport solids and provide first stage compaction. A dewatering plate having a restricted opening provides second stage compaction and dewatering. The auger maybe be shafted or shaftless. First stage compaction is achieved by a change in helical pitch of the auger immediately preceding the location of the dewatering plate.

A method and apparatus for placing an indelible mark on each page of a document which has been sent by FAX. The sender's FAX machine applies a clear/transparent chemical or ink message on the surface of the document which contains information such as the FAX machine identification number, telephone number of the FAX recipient, and the time and date of the FAX transmission. The information is printed and is invisible to the naked eye, but becomes visible underneath a low voltage UV light. The light is placed above the tray in which completed faxes are temporarily stored to make the mark visible to the operator to assure that each page of the document was separately sent. A separate pen light allows a sender or management person to confirm that a document has been properly and completely transmitted. Visible ink may be used if desired.
