An integrated seat speaker includes a cushion, a seat frame defining a first internal air volume, and a speaker enclosure defining a second internal air volume. The second internal air volume is acoustically coupled to the first internal air volume through an air passageway, thus producing a continuous acoustical air volume. An acoustic sealing member is disposed between the enclosure and the frame. The frame includes a closure feature at one end for isolating a portion of the first internal air volume. The cushion includes an outer surface, and the speaker enclosure is enclosed within the seat cushion and at least partially concealed by the outer surface. A method optimizes the acoustical performance of a speaker assembly by acoustically coupling an internal air volume defined by a speaker enclosure to another internal air volume defined by a seat frame to create a continuous acoustical air volume.

Integrated vehicle seat and speaker assembly

A vehicle seat assembly includes first and second rails configured for mounting transversely on a vehicle floor, parallel to each other. A seat includes rear and front supports with rollers configured for rolling engagement with the first and second rails, respectively, to facilitate lateral movement of the seat across the rails. The rear supports have a releasable rear clamping mechanism engageable with the first rail and releasable from the first rail to enable tumbling of the seat forward in the vehicle. The front supports include a releasable front clamping mechanism engageable with the second rail and releasable from the second rail to enable removal of the seat from the vehicle after tumbling. The seat is laterally movable across the rails when the front and rear clamping mechanisms are simultaneously at least partially released.

The bench press safety rest is essentially two adjustable bar supporting members attached symmetrically on each longer side of a weight lifting bench seat section. The attached adjustable bar supporting members should extend upwards and in position for the purpose of supporting a resting barbell immediately above the lower chest of differently sized persons when individually occupying the weight lifting bench for reclined arm press.
