A fully integrated computer rack mount system comprising: at least one shelving unit configured to store computers; at least one electrical panel coupled to at least one of the at least one shelving unit, the at least one electrical panel configured to receive power from an external source; at least one network panel, coupled to at least one of the at least one shelving units, the at least one network panel configured to receive network connectivity from an outside source; a raceway apparatus coupled to the back plane or the front-plane of each of the at least one shelving unit, the raceway apparatus comprising a horizontal raceway and a vertical member, said vertical member comprising a power interface and a network interface; where said raceway apparatus is configured to allow each computer stored in the shelving units to be proximately connectable to the power interface and network interface; where the at least one electrical panel is coupled via said horizontal raceway to each power interface; and where the at least one network panel is coupled via said horizontal raceway to each network interface. Fully integrated computer racking system

A method of pretreating and hot-dip coating aluminum or aluminum alloys on a chromium-containing steel strip to provide an improved coating comprising annealing final gauge steel strip in an oxygen excess atmosphere to produce a chromium-rich oxide on the surface and thereafter electrolytically descaling the strip in an aqueous salt solution to remove the oxide and to expose a chromium depleted surface of the strip. The strip is then transported to a coating line where it is heated to a temperature at or above the temperature of a bath of aluminum or aluminum alloy. A substantially hydrogen atmosphere is maintained over the bath while the dew point is maintained below minus 35.degree. C. The strip is then drawn through the bath to coat the strip.

Method for hot-dip coating chromium-bearing steel

A weldable ferritic stainless steel and a method for producing the same is provided wherein the steel consists essentially of up to 0.03 carbon, up to 0.05 nitrogen, 10 to 25 chromium, up to 1.0 manganese, up to 0.5 nickel, up to 1.0 silicon, 0.03 to 0.35 titanium, 0.10 to 1.0 niobium, optionally up to 1.2 aluminum, the balance essentially iron, the amounts of titanium and niobium varying inversely and not more than necessary to satisfy specific thermodynamic equations and the method includes casting the steel into ingots or slabs without the precipitation of detrimental intermetallic or nonmetallic titanium compounds so that the hot-rolled band gauge, without grinding, can be cold rolled to final gauge sheet or strip free of open surface defects.

Ferritic stainless steel

A brake press including a stationary bar, a translating bar, a disk rotatable about a fixed, stationary axis, a first set of linkage interconnecting one longitudinal end of the translating bar with the disk, and a second set of linkage interconnecting the other longitudinal end of the translating bar with the disk. The rotation of the disk in a first direction acts through both sets of linkage to translate the translating bar toward the stationary bar, and the rotation of the disk in a second direction acts through both sets of linkage to translate the translating bar away from the stationary bar. The disk may be selectively rotated in either direction or maintained in a stationary position by one or more hydraulic rams. The flow of hydraulic fluid to the hydraulic rams is controlled by a foot pedal which is biased in a position which will cause the hydraulic rams to rotate the disk so that the translating bar is moved away from the stationary bar.

Producing a weldable, ferritic stainless steel strip

A substantially austenitic stainless steel is provided which is characterized by increased strength resulting from martensite formation upon cold working; the stainless steel consists essentially of, in weight percent, 0.08 max. carbon, 0.25 max. nitrogen, 12 to 15 chromium, 6.5 to 8.5 manganese, about 2 to 3.5 nickel, the sum of manganese and nickel being at least 9.0, and balance iron. The steel is further characterized by having less than 15% ferromagnetic phases in the cast and hot-processed conditions. A method of producing the steel product including hot working the steel alloy to a thickness which allows cold working by an amount equivalent to up to 25% thickness reduction and cold working without an intermediate anneal is also provided.

Work-hardenable substantially austenitic stainless steel and method

Apparatus for carrying an infant on and by the body of an adult comprising one piece of conformable cloth-like material having a shoulder strap attached to the upper edge thereof and a waist strap attached to the lower edge thereof whereby the cloth-like material has a J-shape configuration when placed about an infant supported thereon.
