A cosmetic package for applying a product including a cosmetic, care or pharmaceutical product onto the keratinous substrate comprises a receptacle and a cosmetic applicator. The cosmetic applicator comprises an applicator head, a stem and a closure. The applicator head further comprises a connecting member, an applying member and a rivet member. The connecting member further comprises a shank portion at a proximal portion thereof, a locking portion at a distal portion thereof, and a flexing portion which extends between the shank portion and the locking portion. The applying member rotates with respect to the stem and the flexible portion of the applicator head flexes during application of the cosmetic product onto the keratinous substrate.

A container for loose powder, having a well defining a well volume, a side wall surrounding the well laterally to define an upwardly closed powder chamber extending circumferentially around the well, and a bottom member cooperating with the well and the side wall to close the lower ends of the well volume and the chamber. The bottom member and at least a part of the well are relatively rotatable between positions in which the well and bottom member cooperatively prevent passage of powder from the chamber to the well volume, and in which at least one gap opens to permit limited passage of powder from the chamber into the lower end of the well volume. A lid closing the well volume is removable to enable an applicator to transport powder from the well volume to a location outside the container.

Container for dispensing loose powder and method of filling the container

A powder dispenser includes a container for holding powder in a spherical chamber. A wiper is disposed within and rotatable about a horizontal axis of the chamber to sweep the inner wall of the chamber. A scoop is positioned on the wiper to pass through the powder to capture and transport a small quantity of the powder upwardly from the chamber to an opening for discharge to a manually accessible platform on the container. The remainder of the powder stays in the chamber. A thumbwheel is connected with the wiper and is positioned to be manually rotatable to drive the wiper about the horizontal axis when traction force is applied to the thumbwheel.

Sweep bead dispenser

A rotary airless compact including facing concentric arcuate inner and annular outer walls which are manually rotatable relative to each other, and a flexible tube extending between the walls and secured to the inner wall. The outer wall has radial ribs projecting inwardly to crimp the tube at spaced locations against the inner wall, providing successive seals between which the tube has internally open regions for holding fluid product. As the outer wall rotates relative to the inner wall in a direction from a first to a second end of the tube, product is drawn from a supply pouch at the first end into successive open regions of the tube in discrete quantities separated by the seals, and the ribs advance the seals and open regions to the second end, where a nozzle or other dispensing element discharges the quantities of product into a pan area of the compact.

Rotary airless compact

A single-bead dispenser including a container for holding plural beads in a spherical chamber, a wiper disposed within and rotatable about a horizontal axis of the chamber to sweep the inner wall of the chamber and transport a single contained bead upwardly from the chamber to an opening for discharge to a manually accessible platform on the container while leaving all the other contained beads in the chamber, a geared ring mounted externally of the container and manually rotatable about a vertical axis of the chamber, and a gear secured to the wiper and engaged and driven by the geared ring for effecting sweeping rotation of the wiper when the ring is turned. The wiper may be a lune of a hollow sphere close to and concentric with the chamber inner wall and may bear a dispensing scoop shaped to capture and convey a single bead to the opening.

A cosmetic container for housing a cosmetic product applicator is presented. The cosmetic container comprises: a tubular housing within which a cosmetic product applicator can be inserted; and a platform positioned within the tubular housing, the platform being movable along the longitudinal axis of the housing. The platform comprises an interlock arrangement adapted to releasably engage an interface section of a cosmetic product applicator.
