A capacity counter system has a central capacity controller, a clicker to indicate when people enter or leave an area, and a video system for displaying a running count of how many people are in the area. The controller, clicker and video system communicate wirelessly using protocols that allow the controller to communicate with a plurality of clickers while being in close proximity to other controllers serving adjacent areas.

A room temperature butter dish has a cover and a base. The base has two end walls and two side walls that a stick of butter resides between. The cover sits over the end walls and side wall and rests on the base. The end walls have raised shoulders and a horizontal knife scraper between the shoulders. The knife scraper is above the height of a conventional stick of butter. Butter can be scrapped off of a knife and rest on top of a stick of butter below. The shoulders of the end walls keep the bottom edge of the cover from hitting any butter as the cover is put on or removed.

A water sensing electrode circuit comprises a voltage source; first electrode; second electrode; first resistor; second resistor; and an inverting comparator with an internal reference voltage, V; wherein: said voltage source, first electrode, second electrode, first resistor and second resistor are connected in series; and the negative input of said voltage comparator is attached to the junction of said first and second resistor.

A tissue removal device is used with a standard Kleppinger bipolar forceps. A cleaning element held on a tube fitting over the Kleppinger forceps tubes, is used to remove coagulated tissue from between the forceps blades and clean the blades. A motion restrictor also is disclosed which prevents excessive movement of the tissue removal device.

An electrical voting machine is disclosed which uses digital circuits to allow each of a number of voters to (1) select one of a number of alternative answers to a question and (2) express a selected degree of confidence in the selected answer, and then combines digitally the voter selections, and displays indications reflecting both the answer distribution and the degree of confidence of the voter group in the selected answers. Additionally, the machine calculates and displays: the total number of voters, a downcount of the number of voters as their votes are tallied, a weighted mean of the answer curve, an error signal if the number of votes exceeds the number of voters or if there is a circuit failure, and an error condition if an attempt is made to tally the votes before all voters have voted.
