Element for a challenge course

A zip track system that is integrally connected to a challenge course so that a user can traverse one portion of the challenge course, and then can slide down the zip track system via a zip track to any other desired location.

Zip track and system

A lanyard for attaching a user's harness to a moveable member of a challenge course. The lanyard may comprise an upper section, a lower section, and a midsection arranged therebetween. The upper section may comprise an upper outer loop and an upper inner loop arranged within the upper outer loop, which form an opening configured to attach to the moveable member, and one or more structural connections. The lower section may comprise a lower outer loop and a plurality of lower inner loops configured to receive a coupling device for the harness. The plurality of lower inner loops may be sequentially arranged within the lower outer loop and attached to the lower outer loop via double shear connections.

A carabiner gate for a carabiner having an outer cylinder and an inner cylinder, that can only be opened with the use of a properly located magnet to move a sliding pin and allow rotation of the outer cylinder to open the carabiner.

Magnetic gate for a caribiner

An apparatus and system whereby a user can move by guidance of a return track on a challenger course. The return track may extend away from the challenge course and overhang its main frame so the user can experience an element outside of the main frame.

An in-line brake having a displaceable carriage for slowing and stopping a zip track trolley, that allows the trolley to continue in its direction of travel after it stops. The carriage is then repositioned automatically to stop the next trolley.

In-line brake

A wet play structure including a non-harnessed course and a harnessed course. The wet play structure can be located in an amusement park. The non-harnessed course and the harnessed course can be completely, or partially integrated to increase interaction between users. The wet play structure may include an elevated path configured to allow a user to traverse the elevated path. A track is configured to connect to a harness worn by the user while the user traverses the elevated path. In one aspect, the wet play structure may include a fluid conduit configured to transmit water onto the user while the user traverses the elevated path. In one aspect, a pool positioned beneath the elevated path and configured to contain water.

A non single point of failure member slide having two members that extend from a second washer, downwardly through a sheath to a belt. The glide being slidably disposed within a track member.

An apparatus and system whereby a first member can move along a cable track and then on a glide track to then move in another direction and back on a glide track. The first member has a secondary retention system disposed therein.
