Embodiments described herein relate to a system. The system may include a base configured to be removably coupled to an electrical component. The base may include a first plurality of crossbar alignment features arranged in a first pattern. The system may also include a crossbar configured to be removably coupled to the base using a portion of the first plurality of crossbar alignment features. The crossbar may include a first plurality of adapter plate alignment features arranged in a second pattern. The system may also include an adapter plate configured to be removably coupled to the crossbar using a subset of the first plurality of adapter plate alignment features. The adapter plate may include a plurality of measurement device mounting features.

In some implementations, a switch card is provided. The switch card includes a set of switch chips configured to communicate data with a plurality of line cards. The plurality of line cards is coupled to a second switch card. The second switch card comprises a second set of switch chips. The switch card also includes a communication component coupled to the set of switch chips. The communication component is configured to determine whether the switch card should operate in a master mode or a slave mode. In response to determining that the switch card should operate in the master mode, the switch card is also configured to receive control plane data from a supervisor card. The switch card is further configured to communicate the control plane data to one or more switch chips of the set of switch chips and the second set of switch chips.

Embodiments of the invention may relate to a circuit board (CB). The circuit board may include a first CB layer that includes a first anti-pad having a first area, a second CB layer that includes a second anti-pad having the first area and being located substantially beneath the first anti-pad, a first via within the first anti-pad and the second anti-pad, and a first CB trace in the second CB layer. The first CB trace may be coupled to the first via to form a first transition point within a first signal propagation path. The first area may be determined, at least in part, by a depth within the CB of the second CB layer.

Each clocked component receives a clock signal with an actual clock frequency from a separate clock source. The clock signals have an identical nominal frequency. The actual frequency of each clock signal deviates from the nominal frequency within a predetermined range.

The current invention provide a microfluidic valve having a housing that includes a microfluid control port disposed adjacent to a microfluid exhaust port, where a movable rigid material having a first diameter is disposed in the housing between the microfluid control port and the microfluid exhaust port. The housing further includes a microfluid pressure port having a first microfluid pressure. The microfluid pressure port is connected to the microfluid exhaust port by a microfluid valve orifice having a second diameter, where the first diameter is larger than the second diameter, and when a second microfluid pressure is applied to the control port the moveable rigid material closes the microfluid valve orifice, where the first microfluid pressure is greater than the second microfluid pressure.

The invention provides a system with no moving parts for autocorrelating optical radiation signals. An incident optical radiation signal is first divided into first and second optical beams which, in the preferred embodiment, are directed respectively through first and second electro-optic crystals to produce a relative time adjustment between the optical beams. The optical beams are then combined and a product value is determined. Using the technique of autocorrelation, the product of the optical beams is measured over a range of time adjustments between the optical beams to provide a measurement of the incident optical radiation signal. The system and method described provide a vibration-free technique for autocorrelation which can be incorporated into laser resonator structures.
