Methods for treating autism spectrum disorder and associated symptoms

The present disclosure relates to compositions and methods for treating autism spectrum disorder (ASD) by restoring an ASD patient's gut microbiota. These methods can be used with ASD patient with or without ongoing gastrointestinal symptoms. Provided here is a method for ASD treatment in a subject in need thereof comprising or consisting essentially of administering a therapeutic composition comprising a fecal microbe or a fecal microbiota preparation to the subject. Also provided here is a method comprises administering an antibiotic to a human subject; subjecting the human subject to a bowel cleanse; and administering purified fecal microbiota to the human subject. Further provided are evaluation and quantitative characterization of patient symptom improvements upon treatment described here.

A gas delivery system for a substrate processing system includes a first manifold and a second manifold. A gas delivery sub-system selectively delivers gases from gas sources. The gas delivery sub-system delivers a first gas mixture to the first manifold and a second gas mixture. A gas splitter includes an inlet in fluid communication with an outlet of the second manifold, a first outlet in fluid communication with an outlet of the first manifold, and a second outlet. The gas splitter splits the second gas mixture into a first portion at a first flow rate that is output to the first outlet and a second portion at a second flow rate that is output to the second outlet. First and second zones of the substrate processing system are in fluid communication with the first and second outlets of the gas splitter, respectively.

This disclosure relates generally to physically unclonable function (PUF) circuitry along with methods of generating numbers. In one embodiment, the PUF circuitry includes a memory, a memory control circuitry, and whitening circuitry. To reduce or eliminate the systematic bias from the array, whitening circuitry is configured to generate a random number comprising random number bits in response to the memory control circuit implementing at least one sequence of memory cycles on the array of the memory cells in the memory. The whitening circuitry is configured to provide the random number bits of the random number based on the variable bit states stored by the array of the memory cells. On average the whitening circuitry is configured to provide approximately half of the random number bits in the first bit state and half of random number bits in a second bit state.

Multiple application coordination of the data update rate for a shared resource

Devices and methods for controlling displays in a multi-display environment are disclosed. An exemplary method may comprise the following steps. Initially, an exemplary method may continuously track and record currently active display surfaces. Next, the exemplary method may identify the display surface that is determined to have been active immediately prior to the newly invoked display. After updating the specification file for the newly invoked display to include the identity of the display surface just identified, the exemplary method may be completed by displaying the newly invoked display on the same display surface as previously identified. In the event that the newly invoked display is a critical display, both the newly invoked display and the display determined to have been active immediately prior to the invoked display may be assigned an always-on-top status.

Display management in a multi-window display

A system () and method () for visualizing on a single display screen (SDS) a first plurality of display screen windows (FPDSWs) displayed on display screens () of a multi-screen workspace. The method involves determining a relative placement pattern (RPP) for the FPDSWs (). The method also involves selecting at least one size reduction factor (SRF) to reduce a combined total area of the FPDSW to fit within a viewing area provided by SDS (). The method further involves displaying a second plurality of display screen windows (SPDSWs) on the SDS using the SRF and RPP. The SPDSWs (') are presented such that the FPDSWs having a reduced combined total area is simultaneously viewable on the SDS in the RPP. Notably, the SPDSWs can comprise substantially similar content and attributes of respective display screen windows of the FPDSWs.

System and method for visualizing a multi-screen workspace on a single display screen

A T-shaped sweep auger handle for attachment to a sweep auger to enable the sweep auger to be easily maneuvered while operating. A float body for river fishing and trolling has a longitudinal fin projecting downwardly from the bottom of the float to cut through water being fished to locate the float in desired lateral locations relative to the riverbank or direction of trolling. A spring-loaded locking swivel arm is used to set the desired angle at which the fin cuts through the water. The line exit location is through the fin and approximately at the center of the float body rearwardly from the swivel arm for horizontal stability. The float includes line locking apparatus using ring members secured under spring pressure or by a threaded tightening nut.

A cover for a toilet seat is a plurality of plastic sheet members having side, front and rear sections surrounding an opening aligned with a toilet seat opening when the cover is placed on the toilet seat to protect a person from contaminants, side members are attached to opposite sides of the sheet members and extend downwardly adjacent opposite sides of the toilet seat. An apron, attached to the front of the sheet members, extends downwardly in front of the toilet seat and bowl to shield a person's legs and clothing from the toilet seat and bowl. An internal flap releasably connected to the sheet members is adapted to extend downwardly into the toilet bowl adjacent the front of the inside of the toilet seat. The sheet members are made of water-soluble material that dissolves at temperatures in a high range. The side members and apron are made of water-soluble material that dissolves at temperatures in a low range.
