The present invention is a barrage jammer with contoured amplitude and an associated method for barrage jamming with contoured amplitude. In a standard prior art barrage jammer, the amplitude of the RF signal is independent from the ambient spectral environment. Alternatively, in a barrage jammer according to the current invention, the ambient spectral environment is detected, processed, and a contoured amplitude plan is developed based on the ambient environmental spectrum data. The barrage jammer transmit signal is transmitted in accordance with the contour amplitude plan. The invention is particularly useful when deployed in a Managed Access Service (MAS) system or as a jamming system. In particular, such a system can be used in a facility (such as a prison, school, government building, etc) to prevent cellphone usage.

Barrage jammer with contoured amplitude

A jamming or MAS system is provided having multiple transmit antennas for transmitting respective transmit signals with spatial diversity to reduce multipath fading. The jamming or MAS communication system communicates with at least one receiver for receiving the transmit signals with no additional processing required at the receiver. In some embodiments, the jamming or MAS communication system includes an associated receiver for receiving and analyzing various signals. The jamming or MAS communication system in the present invention is able to help reduce the effects of multipath fading without modifications to the receiver. Prior art attempts to reduce the effects of multipath fading require some form of additional processing at the receiver. The invention is particularly useful when deployed in a Managed Access Service (MAS) system or a jamming system. In particular, such a system can be used in a facility (such as a prison, school, government building, etc) to prevent cellphone usage.

Multiple jamming signal transmit antennas with spatial diversity

A communication system is provided comprising a transmitter coupled to a switch, which is further coupled to at least two antennas for switching the transmit signal to one of the antennas, with no feedback. The communication system further comprises at least one receiver for receiving the transmitted signal. The communication system in the present invention is able to help mitigate the effects of multipath. Previous attempts to mitigate the effects of multipath suffer from various problems: increased complexity needed to measure channel parameters and a feedback loop to switch the transmit antenna based on the parameters. The system is particularly useful when deployed in a MAS system or a jamming system.

Switched transmit antennas with no feedback for multipath reduction

A server is configured to establish connections for secure element communication sessions. The server receives a request from a device to establish a first secure connection, and establishes the first secure connection with the device in response to the received request. The server sends a request to a Trusted Service Manager (TSM). The sent request instructs the TSM to establish a second secure connection between the TSM and a secure memory. The server receives an authentication request from the TSM to establish the second secure connection, and forwards the authentication request to the device over the first secure connection.
