Handle for a medical gas/fluid regulator or conserver

Fluid regulators provide a fluid to a cannula for use by a person. Fluid conservers also a fluid to a cannula for use by a person. A fluid conserver may be operational in a continuous flow mode of operation and an intermittent flow mode of operation. The selection of either the continuous flow mode of operation and the intermittent flow mode of operation may be based on a position of a flow selector. A home fill device may operate with a fluid conserver and may include an oxygen concentrator which provides a source of fluid.

Method and apparatus for regulating fluid

Fluid flow regulators and fluid conservers are disclosed. An exemplary fluid conserver may be operated in one of an intermittent mode of operation and a continuous mode of operation. Further, the exemplary conserver provides at least two pulses of fluid in response to a first trigger, such as the inhalation of a patient.

Method and apparatus for regulating fluid flow or conserving fluid flow

A T-Shirt is disclosed having rolled sleeves and a torso portion configured to cover a portion of a torso of the person. In one embodiment, the rolled sleeves may be secured in place. In another embodiment, the rolled sleeves may include a snugging member to assist in contouring the sleeve to the wearer's arm. In one embodiment, the T-Shirt may further include a securing member configured to secure the rolled sleeve in place, the securing member being hidden from view from an exterior of the rolled sleeve when the shirt is worn by a person.

Conserver

Fluid regulators are disclosed. An exemplary fluid regulator having a cylindrical body and a reduced diameter portion adjacent an open end of the fluid regulator along with a flow selector positioned adjacent the open end of the fluid regulator and having a diameter larger than the reduced diameter of the cylindrical body is disclosed. Another exemplary fluid regulator having a pressure reduction section positioned within a housing is disclosed.

Lighted fluid flow indication apparatus

A gas metering valve is provided for selectively providing a series of different calibrated gas flow rates. The valve includes a valve body having a gas inlet, a gas outlet, a chamber situated between the gas inlet and gas outlet. The valve also includes a metering element located in the chamber. The metering element is formed to include a plurality of passageways for permitting gas flow from the gas inlet to the gas outlet. The metering element is movable relative to the valve body to position a selected passageway in communication with the gas inlet. The valve further includes a seal apparatus including a sealing disk in sliding contact with the metering element. The sealing disk has an aperture formed therethrough aligned with the gas inlet for sealing said chamber against the transmission of gas therethrough except when the metering element is oriented with the selected passageway in registry with the aperture in the sealing disk. The sealing disk is also formed to include a recessed portion surrounding the aperture. The seal apparatus also includes an O-ring located in the recessed portion of the sealing disk for engaging the metering element.
