A tilter for holding a container in a tilted position for receiving a beverage being dispensed from a dispensing system such as a beer faucet, which holds the container, such as a cup or mug, in an initial highly tilted orientation for receiving the dispensed beverage, and which progressively reduces the degree of tilt as the container fills. The tilter can operate in cooperation with the lever or other actuator of a dispenser to automatically be tilted to the initial highly tilted orientation when the actuator is operated to initially dispense, and to automatically operate the actuator to stop the dispensing of the beverage when a final reduced degree of tilt is reached and present the filled container for removal from the tilter.

The beverage dispensing system includes a dispensing faucet defining a flow path, a valve head in the flow path movable between a closed position in sealed contact with a valve seat, and an open position. An actuator is manually movable to operate the faucet, and a biasing element is cooperable with the actuator and valve head such that an initial movement of the actuator will automatically cause sufficient energy to be stored or loaded in the biasing element for moving the valve head to the open position but without doing so. Occurrence of a subsequent predetermined event such as a further movement of the actuator will cause the stored energy to be automatically released to rapidly or nearly instantaneously move the valve head to the open position. As a result, no instruction or skill is required to operate the faucet to uniformly dispense pressurized beverages such as draught beer.

A closed circuit video magnification system, incorporates a base, upon which the operating components of this system mount, a platform mounted upon the base for shiftable movement both laterally and depth-wise, in the X-Y directions, pivotal mount a LCD screen for projection and viewing of any matter scanned upon the shiftable platform, or of any other images that are detected and picked up by the miniature camera, also incorporated into the structure of this system. The miniature camera is also mounted upon shiftable arms, for scanning downwardly towards the platform, or which can be pivoted vertically, or circularly, in order to view any scene provided in the surrounding area, and which is capable of being picked up by the lens of the camera, for processing and projecting onto the screen, for viewing by the handicapped person. Controls are provided for regulating the amplification, reduction of size, brightness, and contrast, in addition to its on/off control.

Closed circuit video magnification system

An exercise treadmill is disclosed having a flexible, endless belt entrained around a pair of spaced rollers and having a slider bed disposed under the upper reach of the belt. The slider bed is of a heat-conducting metal plate, and is supported by an open frame such that air may freely flow under the slider bed to carry away heat generated by the upper reach of the belt (with the weight of the runner supported thereon) functionally sliding on the slider bed. The frame, slider bed supports, and slider bed are constructed in such manner as to permit limited vertical flexing movement of these parts when a user runs or walks on the upper reach of the belt supported by the slider bed so as to absorb shock and cushion the impact of the user's feet.
