A clinical garment for patient warming including a front body panel having a first edge, an opposite second edge, an insulated sheet comprising an insulated layer positioned between an outer layer a film layer, a permeable layer adjacent to the film layer of the insulated sheet, a blanket section defined by a lower portion of the insulated sheet sealed to a lower portion of the permeable along a top edge, a bottom edge, and opposite first and second side edges of the blanket section, and at least one inlet port extending into the blanket section. The garment further includes a first back panel secured to at least a portion of the first edge of the front body panel and a second back panel secured to at least a portion of the second edge of the front body panel.

Patient warming systems and corresponding methods

Aspects of the present disclosure relate to a warming system including a warming device. The warming device includes a clinical garment comprising a body portion adapted to cover a portion of a patient, an inner surface for facing the patient, and an outer surface for facing away from the patient. The body portion includes sleeves sized and positioned for receiving the patient's arms and a torso portion adapted to cover an anterior torso of a patient. A first pneumatic convective device can be disposed adjacent to the inner surface of the clinical garment. The pneumatic convective device can include an opening formed in the clinical garment for admitting a stream of pressurized, warmed air into the first pneumatic convective device. The warming system can also have a second pneumatic convective device in a fully-folded configuration or partially-folded configuration and disposed on a portion of the clinical garment.

Convective warming device

According to various embodiments of the present disclosure, a composition includes about 5 to about 40 parts by weight of a solute copolymer component. The solute component optionally has one Tor Tof at least 25&#xb0; C. The composition further includes about 60 to about 95 parts by weight of a solvent monomer. The solvent monomer component includes (meth)acrylate monomers and a multifunctional acrylate. The sum of the solute copolymer component and the solvent monomer component is 100 parts by weight. The composition further includes about 5 to about 100 parts of a plasticizer, relative to the 100 parts. The plasticizer component comprises at least one plasticizer comprising an acid group.

Self-wetting adhesive composition

According to various embodiments of the present disclosure, a composition includes about 5 to about 40 parts by weight of a solute copolymer component. The solute component optionally has one Tor Tof at least 25&#xb0; C. The composition further includes about 60 to about 95 parts by weight of a solvent monomer. The solvent monomer component includes (meth)acrylate monomers and a multifunctional acrylate. The sum of the solute copolymer component and the solvent monomer component is 100 parts by weight. The composition further includes about 5 to about 100 parts of a plasticizer, relative to the 100 parts.

Headsets and head-mounted displays including first and second diffractive elements are described. In some cases, the first and second diffractive elements include first and second grating surfaces, and for at least one wavelength, the first and second grating surfaces have at least one different corresponding diffractive property. The head-mounted display may include two-dimensionally pixelated adjacent first and second display surfaces for displaying images, and first and second diffractive elements disposed adjacent the respective first and second display surfaces. In some cases, the first diffractive element is configured to diffract a first wavelength &#x3bb;, but not a different second wavelength &#x3bb;, into zero and first diffraction orders having intensities within 5% of each other, and the second diffractive element is configured to diffract the second wavelength &#x3bb;, but not the first wavelength &#x3bb;, into zero and first diffraction orders having intensities within 5% of each other.

Headset and head-mounted display

A multilayer optical film including a first layer having an index of refraction n1 at a wavelength &#x3bb; in a range from about 580 nm to about 650 nm, and a second layer having an index of refraction n2 at &#x3bb; is described. The first and second layers define an interface therebetween comprising a two-dimensional grating. The grating may have an average height H such that |n1&#x2212;n2|*H is in a range from 0.24 micrometers to 0.3 micrometers. Optical systems including the multilayer optical film are described. A subpixel in a display surface of the optical system may be diffracted into a zero diffraction order and a plurality of first diffraction orders where the intensities of the zero and first diffraction orders are with 10% of each other at &#x3bb;. The optical system may have a modulation transfer function greater than 0.4 at 10 line pairs per millimeter.

Optical film and optical system

An optical construction includes a quantum dot film element including a plurality of quantum dots, a first optical recycling element, and a first low refractive index element separating the quantum dot film element from the first optical recycling element. The first low refractive index element has a refractive index of 1.3 or less.

Integrated quantum dot optical constructions

The present disclosure describes a display system including a liquid crystal display panel and a light source emitting light capable of emitting light. A nonwoven diffuser element is disposed between the light source and the liquid crystal display panel. The polymeric nonwoven diffuser is non-orientated and has a fiber diameter of less than 50 micrometers, a fiber aspect ratio of length/diameter of greater than 5 and a basis weight in a range from 10 to 80 grams/meter.

Light emitting systems are disclosed. The light emitting system emits an output light that has a first color. The light emitting system includes a first electroluminescent device that emits light at a first wavelength in response to a first signal. The first wavelength is substantially independent of the first signal. The intensity of the emitted first wavelength light is substantially proportional to the first signal. The light emitting system further includes a first luminescent element that includes a second electroluminescent device and a first light converting layer. The second electroluminescent device emits light at a second wavelength in response to a second signal. The first light converting layer includes a semiconductor potential well and converts at least a portion of light at the second wavelength to light at a third wavelength that is longer than the second wavelength. The light emitting system combines light at the first wavelength with light at the third wavelength to form the output light at the first color. When one of the first and second signals changes from about 50% of a maximum rating of the signal to about 100% of the maximum rating, but the ratio of the first signal to the second signal remains substantially unchanged, the first color of the output light remains substantially unchanged.

Stable light source

A system for generating and providing a simulated image. Based upon a source image and first parameters for a first display device, the system generates and displays a simulated image on second display device having second parameters. The first parameters are different from the second parameters, and the simulated image displayed on the second display device provides a visual indication of how the source image would appear when displayed on the first display device. The parameters can include a resolution in pixels per inch and a fill factor for the display device. The system can also be used to provide a visual indication of how the source image would appear when displayed on the second display device under varying lighting conditions and viewing angles.
