Described is a method of creating objects for collecting textual information from a CTI server and display the textual information in an application for controlling a telephony system and for allowing users to enter information associated with a call and having this information automatically associated with the call information stored in a CTI server. The objects are created by selecting reusable image symbols and embedding them into an application, without requiring an application developer to write any programming code. After being embedded into an application, these objects are able to correct textual information from the CTI server and display the textual information within the objects. These objects are also able to collect textual information entered by a user and pass this information to the CTI server.

Method for collecting and displaying information for activex controls simplifying CTI enabled application development

A mechanism for recording browser activities performed at a first web browser and subsequently replaying the recorded browser activities at one or more web browsers. The browsing activities can be recorded together with time references corresponding to various browsing activities such as when a web page is retrieved, or the length of time a page is displayed. The browsing activities can be replayed in accordance with the recorded time references. If desired, the browsing activities that are being repeated can be synchronized among multiple browsers.

Method for recording and reproducing the browsing activities of an individual web browser

Described is a method of creating intelligent command objects for controlling a telephony system by selecting reusable image symbol to an application container, without requiring an application developer to write any programming code. After being embedded into CTI, these command objects are able to automatically monitor the operation status and enable and disable themselves according to the changes of the operation status of the telephony hardware system. To control the operation of the telephony system, a user simply activates (i.e. clicks) a respective command object when it is enabled.

Described is a mechanism for dependably tracking web page activities among a group of browsers. The web browsers retrieve web pages from an HTTP server, with each of the web pages embedding an applet. In response to web page activities (such as loading or unloading of a web page) performed at a browser, the respective applet reports the activities (together with the URL of the web page) to a synchronization server, which in turn stores them in a database.

Method for monitoring user interactions with web pages from web server

Described is a mechanism for dependably managing web synchronization and tracking operations among multiple consumer browsers. A session is created for each of one of the consumer browsers when an individual consumer downloads an initial web page from an HTTP server. A unique ID is assigned to that session. After the session has been created for an individual browser, the information about all activities from that consumer browser will be recorded into the session. Such a mechanism overcomes the difficulty to organize and manage the activities from the multiple consumer browsers that are stateless in nature. An administration browser can select any one of the sessions created, display the activities previously performed in that session, and conduct bi-direction synchronization with the consumer browser associated with the selected session.

Mechanism for dependably managing web synchronization and tracking

Described is a mechanism for dependably synchronizing data element activities on web pages among a group of browsers. The web browsers retrieve web pages from an HTTP server. Each of the web pages contains at least one data element and embeds a Master Applet and at least one DTS Applet (DTS stands for data tracking and synchronization). In response the data element activities (such as entering data into a data field) performed at a browser, the DTS Applet passes the activities to the Master Applet, which in turn reports the activities (together with the URL of the web page on which the data element activities have occurred) to a tracking server. The tracking server sends the activity report (together with the URL of the web page on which the data element activities have occurred) to the Master Applets at all participant browsers. The participant Master Applets then instruct their respective DTS Applets to display the data element activities on the web page identified by the URL.

Dependable data element synchronization mechanism

Described is a mechanism for dependably organizing and managing information for web synchronization and tracking among multiple consumer browsers. In response the activities (such as loading or unloading of a web page) performed at a browser, the applet reports activities (together with the URL of the web page) to a page synchronizing server, which in turn relays the activities (together with the URL) to all participant browsers. The participant browsers can load and unload the web page according to the report of the activities.

Dependable web page synchronization mechanism

An improved power assisted hand truck includes a lower frame and an upper, upwardly extending, tilting frame for supporting a load in generally upright and rearwardly tilting orientations. The upper frame is tilted forward by a first hydraulic actuator mounted between the lower and upper frame portions. To stabilize the hand truck while raising the load, a stabilizer, pivotally mounted to the frame, is driven by a second hydraulic actuator mounted between the frame and the stabilizer. The first and second actuators are powered by a hand pump. Pressurizing the retract port of the second actuator causes the stabilizer to move until it contacts the ground. Continued pressurization of the retract port causes the second hydraulic actuator to pull the upper frame towards its rearwardly tilting position. The extend port of the second actuator is then pressurized slightly to cause the stabilizer to pivot away from the ground. The load is lowered by pressurizing the extend port of the first actuator.

Power assisted hand truck

A power assisted hand truck is disclosed. The hand truck includes a generally vertically extending rack pivotably mounted on a pair of laterally disposed front wheels and having a load bearing member extending from the front side thereof. A frame is connected to the front wheels and extends rearwardly with respect to the rack. The length of the frame in the rearward direction is adjustable, and the frame includes rear wheels on the underside thereof spaced from the front wheels. A bottom actuator is fixed to the frame and mounted so as to control the length thereof. A top actuator extends from the frame to the rack. The bottom and top actuators are operated to project the lower end of the rack forwardly and tilt the rack backwardly to lift a load resting on the load bearing member for transportation with the hand truck. The actuators are operated in reverse to lower the load.
