A material eject system includes an ejector mounted to a bed of a vehicle which is movable between a rear end and a forward end of the bed for ejecting material from the bed. The ejector is powered by a cylinder having different fluid volumes depending on the direction of motion of the cylinder. Two pumps having flow rates matching the different fluid volumes of the cylinder are used to power the cylinder in the different directions.

Date Apr. 2, 1981 The push arms of a conventional bulldozer assembly are mounted on a track roller frame of a track-type tractor by bearing assemblies, each including a pair of bearing caps. One of the bearing caps is welded to the push arm, thus requiring that it be cut-off upon replacement thereof. In addition, the bearing cap welded to the push arm must be selectively hardened to avoid stress cracking in the heat affected zone of the weld. This invention overcomes the above problems by providing a bearing assembly (16) which includes a pair of separable first and second bearing caps (17, 17') which are secured together and to the push arm by common fasteners (28).

Replaceable bearing assembly for construction vehicles

An implement assembly (12) includes an implement (16), such as, for example, a blade (22) of a work vehicle (10), pivotally connected to a frame (14) for supporting said blade (22). The blade (22) and frame (14) are closely positioned to the front of the work vehicle (10) for maximum stability and balance of the vehicle (10). In the implement assembly (12) first apparatus (18) tilts the blade (22) generally vertically. Second apparatus (20), such as, for example, angling cylinders (40,42), moves the blade (22) to preselected angles relative to the vehicle (10). A subframe (50) is pivotally connected to the frame (14) and second apparatus (20). The blade (22) moves along the subframe (50) during tilting and with the subframe (50) to the preselected angles. Use of the subframe (50) substantially eliminates lateral movement of the angle cylinders (40,42) during tilting for close mounting of the blade ( 22) and frame (14) without interference with the tractor (10) while minimizing weight of the implement assembly (12).

Angle and tilt implement assembly

An angled bulldozer blade for an earthmoving machine is operatively connected to a slider assembly slidably carried on a rail fastened to each side arm of a C-frame. Removable pins engage with each slider assembly and pass into aligned apertures of a plurality of prelocated apertures in the rail to position the slider assembly for setting the blade in a desired angled position. Self-locking latches are provided for retaining the pins in position. Eight apertures in each side rail are located so as to provide five positions for the slider assembly.

Bulldozer blade angle slide mechanism

A corner tooth assembly, for an earthmoving implement having an upright sidewall and a cutting edge disposed in laterally extending relation from the sidewall, includes a corner tooth adapter having a hollow rearward portion secured to a lower forward outside surface of the sidewall and a nose portion extending forwardly of the sidewall, and a replaceable wear tip mounted on the nose portion of the adapter protectingly beyond the implement so that loads on the tip during forward movement of the implement are transmitted through the adapter directly rearwardly to the sidewall without affecting the cutting edge.
