The light device of a vehicle comprises a housing (), covered with a translucent cover (), a light unit () arranged in the housing () comprising at least one light source, and a functional plate member () comprising a lamella layer () configured to bind light rays () exiting from the optical unit (). The lamella layer () comprises the first lamellas (), which are transparent for light, and the second lamellas (), which are non-transparent for light, and extend across the thickness of the lamella layer (), are in a mutual contact and alternate with each other. The first lamellas () are arranged for the passage of light rays () and the second lamellas () are configured in such a way, when the light source is off, not to reflect the daylight (DS) that falls onto the second lamellas () from the said external environment out of the light device into the external environment.

Light device of a vehicle to ensure a dark, or colored appearance of at least a part of the light device in the off state

A flat light guide () for a vehicle lighting device, which includes a rear end () and a front end with a light output surface (), the light guide () being defined between the two ends by a pair of side surfaces (). The light guide () has a base plane (X-Y) and at its rear end () is provided with at least one collimating element () arranged transversely or obliquely with respect to the plane (X-Y). Opposite the collimating element () is arranged an obliquely inclined reflective surface () to reflect light from the collimating element () into the flat light guide (). The collimating element () is adapted for the light input from the light source into the light guide () which further guides the light between the side surfaces () to the output surface ().

Flat light guide for a vehicle lighting device and a vehicle lighting device

The light-guiding optical unit () for a light device of motor vehicles comprises a light guide () that comprises at least one routing surface (), and at least one light source () to generate light rays (). The light-guide () further comprises a top surface () at least a part of which is constituted by the output surface (), and a bottom surface () opposite the top surface () and fitted with a prismatic structure () comprising reflective surfaces (). The routing surface () and the reflective surfaces () are mutually arranged in such a way that the routing surface (), by means of routing by refraction on this surface () or reflection from this surface (), directs light rays () to the prismatic structure () in such a way that it directly lights up only the reflective surfaces () with the light rays (), the reflective surfaces () being configured to direct light rays () that have fallen onto them this way directly from the routing surface () to the output surface () in such a way that the light rays () can exit from the light guide () through the output surface ().

Light-guiding optical unit for a light device of motor vehicles

The light device comprises an internal chamber () that is covered by a translucent cover, which separates the light device from the external surroundings of the motor vehicle; inside the chamber, there is at least one lighting unit () whose active area () for the exit of light rays () from the lighting unit () is situated opposite the translucent cover and contains a light-conductive core () of an optically transparent material with an associated light unit () located opposite the entry area () of the light-conductive core () to emit light rays () into the body () of light-conductive core (). Between the light-conductive core () and the translucent cover there is a functional layer () configured to focus the beams of light rays () that exit its surface averted from the light-conductive core () in a predetermined direction. The light device comprises a technological layer () that is configured for a total reflection of the light rays (), which is in contact with the top surface () of the light-conductive core ().

An image projection module of a vehicle that includes a light source directed to a projection mask and through it to output optics which is adapted to direct the projected light onto a road near the vehicle. The projection mask is formed on a front wall of a thick lens, whereby this front wall is adapted to direct the projected light from the light source to a flat upper wall of the thick lens which is adapted to totally reflect the projected light onto a curved output wall of the thick lens which is adapted to emit the projected light onto the road into the desired form of the projected pattern. An optical system for a lighting device, comprising a light-guiding optical part configured for spreading light beams generated by light sources situated opposite to a rear side of the optical part. Light beams are coupled into the light-guiding optical part, and after passing through the light-guiding optical part the light beams are emitted through its output surface. Rear side of light-guiding optical part is equipped with macroscopic cavities, each pair of adjacent macroscopic cavities forming between themselves an optical segment, whose two sides, which separate the optical segment from the pair of macroscopic cavities, comprise a reflective surface. The optical segment comprises a rear surface on the rear side, opposite to which a light source is positioned. The reflective surfaces are configured for reflecting a part of the light beams, which were coupled through the rear surface into the optical segment, and then directing them to the output surface.

Optical system for lighting equipment, especially for a signal lamp for motor vehicles

The light-conductive optical system comprises a planarly shaped light guide () made from an optically transparent material with an associated light unit () and a collimating element (). The light guide () comprises an output surface () for the output of light rays () and a binding surface () to bind light rays () to the light guide (). The output surface () and the binding surface () are situated on surfaces that transversally connect the top () and bottom surface () of the light guide () and the binding surface () comprises a partial surface () situated opposite the output surface () of the collimating element () and a lateral partial surface () at one or both sides of the partial surface (). The height (v) of the output surface () is bigger than the thickness (t) of the light guide () so the output surface () reaches above the top surface () and/or below the bottom surface () of the light guide () with its overlapping part (). The light guide () is, for each overlapping part (), fitted with at least a pair of reflective means () comprising the first reflective means () situated opposite the overlapping part () to bind at least a part of light rays () exiting from the overlapping part () and to reflect them to the second reflective means () adapted to direct light rays () against the lateral partial surface ().

Light-conductive optical system, especially for a light device of a vehicle

The optical system comprises an optical component with an active part () made of an optically transparent material, a collimating element () and a light unit () to emit light rays () to the collimating element () to collimate light rays () and to direct them to the active part (). Generally, the active part () has an output surface () on its front side for the output of light rays () out of the active part () towards the display surface (ZY) situated at a distance in front of the active part (). Furthermore, the active part () comprises optical elements () whose output surfaces () are part of the output surface () to create light patterns (A) on the display surface (ZY). The optical elements () consist of convergent lenses () and/or divergent lenses (), the optical elements () being arranged after each other in rows situated next to each other.

Optical system for a motor vehicle for lighting under conditions of reduced visibility, especially under the conditions of fog, heavy rain or snowfall

The lighting device, in particular the fog light for motor vehicles comprises a lighting unit for emitting light beams and a lens on which the light beams fall, configured as a Fresnel lens to form light paths in the plane (zy), which is perpendicular to the axis (x) passing through the center of the lens and located at a distance in front of the lens. The lens is not axially symmetrical with respect to the axis (x) and its zones are configured to form a light path whose height (v) is smaller than its width (s).

Lighting device, in particular fog light for motor vehicles

The light guide, especially for motor vehicle signal lamps, comprises a collimator with a collimating wall for binding and routing light rays, and a light guiding body that continues the collimating wall, is of a material with refractive index (n), and is integral, spatially shaped, planar, and fitted at its end with an output emitting surface providing a signal light function. The first height (d) of the body at its beginning where it adjoins the collimating wall, is bigger than its second height where it passes into the emitting surface. The body is adapted to emit light rays generally within angle (&#x3c9;) of diffusion from the optical axis (x), and comprises a transitional surface that is, in its profile towards the emitting surface, inclined towards the longitudinal axis of the profile. The ratio of inclination height (a) and inclination length (b) of the transitional surface is defined as: 

Light guide, especially for signal lamps of motor vehicles

The light device contains first and second rows of light sources wherein rows are arranged next to each other, collimating elements associated with the light sources to convert their generated light to collimated light, and a light guide to bind the collimated light and emit it from the light guide output surface. Between the collimating element output and the light guide output surface, an optical means is arranged to divide the collimated light to at least two individual, spatially separated light beams, wherein the first light beam is formed by part of the collimated light passing by the optical means, and the second light beam is produced by passing another part of the collimated light through a refractive surface of the optical means. The first and second light beams are displayed on the output surface in the form of separate bands, namely the first and second band (A, B).

The light device, especially a signal lamp, for motor vehicles comprises a carrier housing covered by a cover with a front light output surface, a lighting unit positioned within the carrier housing to emit light rays towards the light output surface, and a semi-permeable layer situated between the light output surface and the lighting unit. The device further comprises a partly transparent primary planar optical element positioned between the output light surface and the lighting unit, and a secondary planar optical element positioned between the primary planar optical element and the lighting unit. Generally, the secondary planar optical element comprises at least one non-transparent planar part and one or more partly transparent planar parts, which are arranged in such a way to create one or more areas on the surface of the secondary planar optical element that are at least partly permeable for light rays emitted by the lighting unit.

Light device, especially a signal lamp, for motor vehicles

A light device for motor vehicles comprises a carrying housing covered by a translucent cover and an inner chamber where an optical system is mounted containing a light guide with a light guide body for guiding the light generated by the light source and its emission as a light beam through one or more output light surfaces out of the light guide, one or more flat electroluminescence diodes and a reflective element for reflection of light emitted from one or more light emitting surfaces of the flat electroluminescence diode. The electroluminescence diode is attached to the light guide. The light guide is configured to emit the light beam essentially in an optical axis direction, and the reflective element is adapted to reflect light of the electroluminescence diode to a direction that is essentially parallel to the direction of the optical axis.

A signal lamp comprises at least one light source arranged at the entry of a longitudinal light guide oriented with its longitudinal axis (&#x3b3;) in the direction (s) of light exit from the lamp, and at least a portion of the light from the light source passes into a transversal light guide oriented with its longitudinal axis (&#x3b1;, &#x3b2;) transversally to longitudinal axis (&#x3b3;). Transversal light guide is fitted on a part of its casing with an exit surface for light to exit from the lamp. Longitudinal light guide is fitted with at least two reflective surfaces that do not overlap when viewed in the direction of longitudinal axis (&#x3b3;), and that are inclined towards axis (&#x3b3;) to reflect light beams to at least two transversal light guides having their entries against the reflective surfaces, and their exit surfaces at a distance from each other in direction (s).
