An aerosol-generating device is provided, including: a first storage portion; a first liquid aerosol-forming substrate contained within the first storage portion; an electrospray device to generate a first aerosol from the first liquid aerosol-forming substrate, the electrospray device including a nozzle to receive the first liquid aerosol-forming substrate from the first storage portion, and a voltage circuit including a circuit ground, the voltage circuit to apply a voltage difference between the first liquid aerosol-forming substrate and the circuit ground; a second storage portion; a second liquid aerosol-forming substrate contained within the second storage portion; a heater to heat second liquid aerosol-forming substrate from the second storage portion; and a mixing chamber in fluid communication with the nozzle and the heater, the heater being downstream of the nozzle. A method of generating a mixed aerosol by the aerosol-generating device is also provided.

A shisha cartridge comprises a body defining a cavity and an internal cavity surface. The cartridge comprises an aerosol-forming substrate disposed in the cavity and comprises a layer of gel disposed in the cavity adjacent the internal cavity surface. As the cartridge is heated, the gel may improve aerosol formation.

A shisha device comprises a cooling element () disposed along an airflow channel to cool an aerosol. The cooling element unit utilizes active cooling and may additionally utilize passive cooling. The cooling element may comprise a conduit () comprising a thermally conductive material. The cooling element may be integrally formed with an accelerating element () disposed along the airflow channel. Cooling may occur before or during acceleration of the aerosol by the accelerating element. The cooling may contribute to the condensation in the aerosol.

Shisha device with active cooling for enhanced aerosol characteristics

A method includes generating an aerosol by heating, without combusting, an aerosol generating substrate () in a shisha device (). The method further includes introducing at least one aerosol condensation particle to an airflow path () of the shisha device. The airflow path () carries the aerosol generated by the aerosol generating substrate to an outlet () of the shisha device for delivery to a user.
