A video endoscope including an operating handle; an insertion tube extending distally from the operating handle; a camera at the distal end of the insertion tube; a working channel extending from the housing to the distal end of the insertion tube; and control cables; the operating handle including: a housing; a control lever comprising a wall and trunnions extending laterally from the wall; a first wall comprising a first support aperture; a second wall comprising a second support aperture, the first support aperture and the second support aperture receiving the trunnions to facilitate rotation of the control lever; a sealed compartment; and lateral grooves configured to receive guiding cables.

Endoscope

An articulated tip part suitable for an endoscope, where the articulated tip part includes a distal end segment, a proximal end segment and a number of intermediate segments arranged between the distal end segment and the proximal end segment, the segments being joined together to form an articulated assembly of segments, a passage running along the length of the articulated tip part, and a bending element, the bending element being fastened to at least two segments and being arranged along a path which is essentially parallel to a centerline of the articulated tip part.

Articulated tip part for an endoscope

A video endoscope including an operating handle; an insertion tube extending distally from the operating handle; a camera at the distal end of the insertion tube; a working channel extending from the housing to the distal end of the insertion tube; and control cables; the operating handle including: a housing; a control lever comprising a wall and trunnions extending laterally from the wall, the wall comprising a control lever immobilization aperture; a first wall comprising a first support aperture and a first immobilization aperture; a second wall comprising a second support aperture, the first support aperture and the second support aperture receiving the trunnions to facilitate rotation of the control lever, and the control lever immobilization aperture and the first immobilization aperture being alignable to receive a tool and thereby immobilize the control lever in a neutral position during attachment of the control cables to the control lever.

An endoscope () having a handle with a handle housing () and an insertion tube () extending from said handle () and terminating in a tip part () at the distal end of the endoscope (). A working channel and having a distal end and a proximal end extends within the insertion tube (). The endoscope further comprises motion transfer means () extending within said working channel and adapted to operate a tool () at the exit port of the tip part () in response to the activation of an operating member (). The working channel comprises a generally tubular working channel wall. The distal working channel end comprises an exit port at the tip part () at the distal end of the endoscope (). The proximal working channel end comprises an end sealing means accommodated within the handle housing (). An entry port is provided between the distal working channel end and the proximal working channel end.

An endoscope () having an operating handle () including a handle housing arranged at a proximal end thereof and an insertion tube () extending from said handle towards a distal end of the endoscope (). The endoscope () comprises a sealed compartment () adapted to accommodate electronic circuitry of the endoscope () and arranged at least partially within said handle housing.

An endoscope having a handle with a handle housing arranged at a proximal end of the endoscope and an insertion tube extending from said handle and terminating in a tip part of a bending section at the distal end of the endoscope, the bending section comprises a distal tubular end segment and a plurality of articulated bending segments, the bending section comprises an intermediate segment between the proximal distal end segment and the plurality of articulated bending segments, wherein the intermediate segment is longer than a bending segment and the distal end segment.

The endoscope () comprises a sealed compartment () adapted to accommodate electronic circuitry of the endoscope () and arranged at least partially within said handle housing.

An endoscope () having an operating handle comprising a handle housing () and an insertion tube () extending from said handle towards a distal end of the endoscope () and terminating in a tip part () at the distal end of the endoscope (). The endoscope () comprises a tool operating member () for operating a too () at the tip part (). A control means connects the tool operating member () and the tool (), so as to allow linear movement () of the tool in response to activation of said tool operating member (). The control means is adapted to also perform a compound movement of said tool () in response to activation of said tool operating member (), where the compound movement comprises a task movement in addition to said linear movement.
