A security tag for mounting on a handle of a container such as a paint can or plastic pail includes a tag housing having a tubular configuration and a lumen extending through the housing. The housing further includes a flange extending radially outwardly from the tubular housing. The flange is adapted to receive a security device, such as an electronic article surveillance tag or an RFID tag. The security tag includes a cover mounted to the flange to encapsulate the security device. The security tag may be placed onto, e.g., a wire loop handle prior to mounting the handle to the container.

A tag assembly for securing a tag to a projection on merchandise, such as a temple arm on a pair of eyeglasses. The tag assembly includes a tag having a tag body and cover to hold a security device and a shrink tube. The tag body is placed within the shrink tube and the tube is then slid over the projection of the merchandise. The tube is then subjected to heat to shrink the tube around the projection on the merchandise to secure the tag assembly thereon. The cover is then moved from the open, installation position to the closed position.

A tag housing assembly for attaching an electronic tag to an extending neck of a bottle with a perimetrical undercut thereabout. The tag housing assembly includes a tag housing, at least one electronic tag and a retaining device. The tag housing includes a perimetrical exterior side wall extending between a top surface and a base plate to define an interior and an opening extending through the top surface and base plate for receiving the extending neck of the bottle. The at least one electronic tag is located in the interior. The retaining device extends into the opening and defines an adjustable aperture for engaging the extending neck of the bottle. When the tag housing is in a closed position, the retaining device is secured to the neck of the bottle.

A jewelry display hanger is provided that has a body, a hook, a neck, a base and a flap. The body has a hook on a first end and two sides extending outwardly to a second end. The neck extends from the second end of the body and connects to the base, which has first and second arms. First and second recesses are formed between the arms and the second end of the body. Each of the arms has at least one slot that extends between one of the recesses and an aperture. The flap extends downwardly from the base and has a closure device near its distal end. The closure device is detachably affixed in an aperture in the base or neck to secure the distal end of the flap to the base or neck for attaching the hanger to an article of jewelry.

An overcap is provided for placement on a cap for a container. The overcap includes a pair of mating components separated by a hinge. Interlocking means is provided for securing the components together about the cap. The interlocking means couples the components for rotation about the cap without causing removable rotation of the cap and preventing non-destructible detachment of the components. The components define a lip for positioning beneath the cap for preventing removal of the overcap therefrom without destructible detachment of the components. The overcap supports an electronic tag therein. The mating components of the overcap include a severable location for removing the overcap from the cap.

A jewelry display hanger is provided that includes a hook, a body connected to a housing by a neck and a cable tie or a twist tie. The hook extends from the first end of the body and the neck extends from the second end. The housing is elongated with first and second ends and a passage extending therebetween. The elongated housing is connected to the body by the neck. The cable tie or twist tie has a first end and a second end. The first end of the cable tie or twist tie passes through the passage in the housing and is connected to the second end to form a loop for attaching the hanger to an article of jewelry.

A merchandise hanger includes a coupling member and a support interface member. The coupling member includes a cross component, a latch component, and a flexible strap. The cross component includes an elongated panel and a track section, wherein the elongated panel defines latch-receiving apertures. The latch component includes an elongated plate and opposing hooks extending from the elongated plate. The flexible strap extends from the cross component to the latch component. The coupling member folds about the flexible strap to move the opposing hooks of the latch component into alignment with the latch-receiving apertures of the cross component. The opposing hooks are configured to move through the latch-receiving apertures to couple the cross component to the latch component. The support interface member is slidably received within the track section of the coupling member and is configured to slidably transition between a storage position and a hanging position.

A tag assembly for a faucet that includes a housing, a cover and an electronic article surveillance tag. The housing has a base plate with a top side, a bottom side and a perimeter, an internal wall defining a first section and a second section on the bottom side and an outer perimetrical side wall. The first section has an opening in the base plate defined by an inner perimetrical side wall. One or more flexible members extend into the opening from the inner perimetrical side wall. The second section has a compartment for an electronic article surveillance tag enclosed by the cover and bounded by the internal wall and the outer perimetrical side wall. The threaded pipe on a faucet is inserted in the opening of the tag assembly housing and the flexible members engage the threads to secure the tag assembly.

A tag for attachment to a circuit breaker is formed from a sheet of plastic material having first and second notches, one or more catches corresponding to one or more apertures, an electronic security device and a plurality of parallel grooves extending between the edges to form a plurality of sections. The tag is assembled by folding the sheet of plastic material so that the end sections overlap and the apertures fixedly receive the catches to secure the tag in a closed position. The notches in the first and second top sections form an opening, which is adapted for receiving the circuit breaker switch.

A flip-flop hanger having an elongated body, a hook, an attachment device, an attachment aperture and two disc-shaped sections. The attachment device is disposed near the second end of the elongated body and the attachment aperture is located in the mid-section of the elongated body. The disc-shaped sections are disposed between the attachment device and the attachment aperture. Each disc-shaped section has an outer perimetrical edge, a central opening and a slot that extends between the central opening and the outer perimetrical edge. The central openings in the disc-shaped sections attach to the flip-flop straps between the bottom of the soles and the retaining devices. After the flip-flops are attached, the body is folded and the attachment device engages the attachment aperture. The flip-flop hanger can then be affixed to a rack or merchandise display.

A tag assembly for securing a tag to a pair of eyeglasses, wherein the eyeglasses have a frame for holding a pair of lenses and two hinged legs. The tag assembly includes a tag, a shrink tube and optionally an electronic identification device ('EID'), a hook, an information panel and a substantially flat pad. The body of the tag is inserted into the opening in the shrink tube and the tag assembly receives one of the first hinged legs of the pair of eyeglasses. The shrink tube secures the hinged leg in the tag assembly upon the application of heat.

A tag assembly for securing a tag to a pair of eyeglasses that has a frame for holding a pair of lenses and first and second hinged legs. The tag assembly includes a tag, a label, a pad and a shrink tube. The tag includes a body that can have a hook extending from one end and a pair of slotted members extending from the front surface. The label has opposing side edges that are inserted into the slotted members. The pad has an adhesive side that secures the pad to the rear surface of the body and a friction side. The tag assembly is inserted in the shrink tube and receives one of the hinged legs of the pair of eyeglasses between the friction side of the pad and the shrink tube. The shrink tube secures the hinged leg in the tag assembly upon the application of heat.

A retail assembly includes a product assembly for retail sale and a hanger. The product assembly defines rear surface and a footprint. The hanger includes an elongated plate, a hinge, and an extension member. The elongated plate defines a first elongated edge and a front surface coupled to the rear surface of the product assembly. The hinge extends from the first elongated edge. The extension member extends from the hinge in an opposite direction as the elongated plate and defines a support surface for interacting with a retail display. The hanger rotates about the hinge between an unfolded position and a folded position. When the hanger is in one of the folded position and the unfolded position, the extension member is maintained within the footprint of the product assembly. When the hanger is in the other position, the extension member extends outside the footprint of the product assembly.

Disclosed herein is a security hang tag that includes a body, a head and a strap. The body includes a head-receiving compartment defining a circumferentially-extending flange. The head includes a circumferentially-extending lip to engage the flange, capturing the lip within the compartment such that the head is rotatably secured to the body. The head has a first strap-receiving channel including a first locking shoulder and a second strap-receiving channel including a second locking shoulder. The strap has first and second ends and includes a first cavity at the first end and a second cavity at the second end. The first end is configured for insertion within the first strap-receiving channel until the first cavity engages the first locking shoulder and the second end is configured for insertion within the second strap-receiving channel until the second cavity engages the second locking shoulder.
