A mobile terminal includes a bar-type terminal body having a front side and a rear side; a mobile communication module transmitting and receiving a wireless signal; a touch screen disposed at the front side of the bar-type terminal body, the touch screen including a display module for displaying information and a front touch sensor for sensing a front touch input; a battery disposed in the bar-type terminal body; a cover disposed at the rear side of the bar-type terminal body and covering the battery, the cover having a first through hole and a second through hole; a front camera disposed at the front side of the bar-type terminal body; a rear camera disposed in the first through hole of the cover at the rear side of the bar-type terminal body; a rear input unit provided at the rear side of the bar-type terminal body, the rear input unit including a button member disposed at the second through hole of the cover and a rear touch sensor for sensing a rear touch input applied to the button member; one or more processors; and a memory storing one or more programs configured to be executed by the one or more processors.

A mobile terminal including a bar-type terminal body having a front side and a rear side; a mobile communication module transmitting and receiving a wireless signal; a touch screen disposed at the front side of the bar-type terminal body, the touch screen including a display module for displaying information and a front touch sensor for sensing a front touch input; a battery disposed in the bar-type terminal body; a cover disposed at the rear side of the bar-type terminal body and covering the battery, the cover having a first through hole and a second through hole; a front camera disposed at the front side of the bar-type terminal body; a rear camera disposed in the first through hole of the cover at the rear side of the bar-type terminal body; a rear input unit provided at the rear side of the bar-type terminal body, the rear input unit including a button member disposed at the second through hole of the cover and a rear touch sensor for sensing a rear touch input applied to the button member; one or more processors; and a memory storing one or more programs configured to be executed by the one or more processors. Further, the front side of the bar-type terminal body is absent any manipulation button for inputting a control command except for the touch screen; wherein a position of the rear input unit is overlapped with a position of the touch screen and is disposed laterally between the rear camera and the battery; wherein in response to receiving the rear touch input via the rear input unit, the one or more processors process the rear touch input as a control command for different functions according to information output to the touch screen; wherein a first function of the different functions releases a locked state of the mobile terminal in response to a first rear touch input applied to the rear touch sensor in a first state that a lock screen is displayed on the touch screen; wherein a second function of the different functions connects an incoming call in response to a second rear touch input applied to the rear touch sensor in a second state that the incoming call is received on the mobile terminal; and wherein a third function of the different functions captures an image through at least one of the front camera and the rear camera in response to a third rear touch input applied to the rear touch sensor in a third state that a camera preview is displayed on the touch screen.

Further, the front side of the bar-type terminal body does not have any push manipulation unit for inputting a control command except for the touch screen; the rear input unit is provided at a rear side of the bar-type terminal body to overlap the touch screen, and the rear input unit includes a button member exposed to an outside of the bar-type terminal body through the second through hole of the battery cover at the rear side of the bar-type terminal body, a touch sensing unit sensing a rear touch input applied to the button member, and a support member supporting the rear input unit; and in response to receiving the rear touch input via the rear input unit, the one or more processors process the rear touch input as a control command for one of different functions according to information output to the touch screen.

A mobile terminal includes a terminal body having a front surface and a rear surface, an input unit disposed at the rear surface to sense an input of a control command and a controller configured to process an input applied to the input unit. The input unit includes a first button portion exposed at an outside of the terminal body at the rear surface of the terminal body and configured to receive a push input corresponding to a first function and a second button portion surrounding the first button portion and configured to receive a push input corresponding to a second function different from the first function, the second button portion including keys disposed adjacent the first button portion.

A mobile terminal includes: a main body with a top surface, a bottom surface, and a back surface; and a case surrounding the main body, the case including: a top side portion covering the top surface of the main body; a backside portion including a first backside portion positioned in the upper part and covering the back of the main body and a second backside portion positioned below the first backside portion and covering the back of the main body; and a bottom side portion covering the bottom surface of the main body, wherein the top side portion, first backside portion, second backside portion, and bottom side portion may be made of a metal material, and separated from one another by a non-metal member, and the non-metal member may have a light-emitting portion that gives off light.

A mobile terminal includes a terminal body having a front surface and a rear surface, a display module disposed on the front surface and configured to display visual information, and a rear input unit disposed on the rear surface and configured to sense an input of a control command, wherein the rear input unit includes a button member externally exposed from the rear surface, a first sensing unit disposed to overlap the button member and configured to sense a push input applied onto the button member, and a second sensing unit disposed to overlap the button member and configured to sense a touch input applied onto the button member.

Disclosed is a mobile terminal, comprising: a display; a metal frame coupled to a rear surface of the display by an adhesive tape, and having a screw-coupling groove on a rear surface thereof; a front case coupled to the rear surface of the metal frame, and having a screw-coupling hole; a screw inserted into the screw-coupling groove and the screw-coupling hole on a rear surface of the front case; and a rear case coupled to the front case, and configured to cover the rear surface of the metal frame. Under such configuration, the rear surface of the display is coupled to the case. Accordingly, the size of a bezel portion disposed on a side surface of the mobile terminal can be prevented from increasing, and a display panel can be easily separated from the front case.

There is disclosed a mobile terminal including a display unit, a first film having one surface coated with a first adhesive material, the surface coupled to a back surface of the display unit by the first adhesive material, and a front case having a second adhesive material disposed on one surface thereof, the surface coupled to the other surface of the first film by the second adhesive material, wherein an adhesive strength of the first adhesive material is smaller than an adhesive strength of the second adhesive material, such that the back surface of the mobile terminal may be attached to the case to prevent the bezel from increasing.

A mobile terminal including a wireless communication unit configured to wirelessly communicate with at least one other terminal; a display unit configured to display information; a circuit board having one surface with a plurality of switches thereon; and a keypad disposed over the circuit board and having keys that when pressed, contact corresponding switches on the circuit board. Further, the keypad further includes a plurality of actuators corresponding to and protruding towards the plurality of switches; key-shaped parts laminated on the actuators, respectively, and each having a predetermined height; and a film part disposed to obscure the key-shaped parts and having one surface with key marks in correspondence with the key-shaped parts so as to form the keys of the keypad. In addition, the key-shaped parts and the film part are integrally formed together.

Mobile terminal and keypad manufacturing method thereof

A mobile terminal includes a first body including a front case and a display disposed in the front case, a second body slidably mounted on the first body and a slide module including a slider mounted on the second body. The mobile terminal also includes a guide portion provided to the front case of the first body to guide a slide motion of the slider.

Disclosed is a mobile terminal including a case having an inner space and a first opening formed at one end thereof to open the inner space, and a slider mounted to the case and slid through the first opening between a first state where a battery is disposed in the inner space and a second state where the battery is externally exposed, wherein the slider includes a slide unit configured to house the battery therein and slidably mounted to the case to be drawn out of the inner space, and a cover unit connected to the slide unit and configured to obscure the first opening in the first state.
