Disclosed is a display device including a substrate including a plurality of sub-pixels, each light-emitting area included in each of the sub-pixels, a buffer layer positioned on the substrate and including each buffer hole defined therein for exposing a surface of the substrate in each light-emitting area, and a bank positioned on the buffer layer and having each bank hole defined therein for separating the light-emitting area of each sub-pixel from the light-emitting areas of other sub-pixels.

Display device

A display panel includes a display area composed of a light-emitting area and a light-transmissive area in which a dark spot defect in the light-transmissive area does not occur. Further, in the display panel, a decrease in transmittance due to light leakage can be prevented, and color mixing between adjacent pixels can be prevented. To this end, a metal layer is disposed at a boundary between the light-emitting area and the light-transmissive area, a metal layer is disposed at a boundary between sub-pixels rendering different colors and adjacent to each other, and a metal layer is disposed at a boundary between two adjacent light-transmissive areas.

An organic light emitting display device has a display panel including a first subpixel, a second subpixel, a data line, and sensing lines. The sensing lines may include a vertical sensing line and a horizontal sensing line connected to the vertical sensing line. The horizontal sensing line may be formed of a source/drain metal layer present on the first substrate, and one portion thereof connected to a first electrode of a sensing transistor of the first subpixel and the other portion thereof connected to a first electrode of a sensing transistor of the second subpixel may be positioned in a region intersecting with the data line, and electrically connected by a connection electrode formed of an insulated light blocking layer below the source/drain metal layer present on the first substrate.

Organic light emitting display device having light blocking layer connecting adjacent subpixels and method for manufacturing the same

Disclosed is a method for fabricating a lightweight and thin liquid crystal display (LCD) device, using a supplementary substrate for processing of a thin glass substrate. Inactive gas is sprayed onto the surface of the substrate to thus remove OH groups from the surface, before the thin glass substrate and the supplementary substrate are attached to each other. Under such configuration, the supplementary substrate can be easily separated from a completed liquid crystal panel which is in an attached cell state, without any damages.

Method of fabricating lightweight and thin liquid crystal display device

In a method for fabricating a lightweight and thin liquid crystal display (LCD), a first mother substrate, a subsidiary substrate and a thin second mother substrate are provided. An edge cut is formed by cutting edges of the first and second mother substrates and the subsidiary substrate to be inclined at a predetermined angle. An array process is performed on the first mother substrate. The subsidiary substrate is attached to the second mother substrate. A color filter process is performed on the second mother substrate having the subsidiary substrate attached thereto. The first and second mother substrates are attached together. The subsidiary substrate is separated from the first and second substrates by spraying air between the second mother substrate and the subsidiary substrate, in which the edge cut is formed.

Method of fabricating lightweight and thin liquid crystal display

In a method of fabricating a lightweight and thin liquid crystal display (LCD), when an auxiliary substrate is used to perform a process of a thin glass substrate, the auxiliary substrate is separated from the thin glass substrate by detaching an edge portion between the thin glass substrate and the auxiliary substrate using a knife and then injecting air into the edge portion using an air knife, so that the auxiliary substrate can be easily separated from a liquid crystal panel in a cell state, which is attached by completing the process. Further, it is possible to optimize the shape of a push pin for forming a point at which the detachment of the edge portion is started.

Method of fabricating lightweight and thin liquid crystal display, and processing line for fabricating liquid crystal display

A liquid crystal display is provided. The liquid crystal display includes an edge common line receiving a common voltage through input sources, a plurality of pixel common line patterns that are formed in each of liquid crystal cells constituting each pixel and are electrically connected to one another, and a plurality of longitudinal common lines that are electrically connected to the edge common line to apply the common voltage to the pixel common line patterns. The pixel common line patterns are connected to common electrodes of the liquid crystal cells. Each of the longitudinal common lines is formed between two horizontally adjacent pixels in a direction parallel to data lines. The pixels includes a plurality of pixel units each including two vertically adjacent pixels, and two data lines and three gate lines are assigned to each of the pixel units.

Liquid crystal display having common voltage input pads connected to dummy channels

A liquid crystal display is described. The liquid crystal display includes a common voltage generation unit that swings first and second common voltages in opposite directions every a predetermined period of time using two voltage levels, a plurality of first longitudinal common lines that are formed parallel to data lines to supply the first common voltage input through first input units to first pixel common line patterns formed in first pixel units, and a plurality of second longitudinal common lines that are formed parallel to the data lines to supply the second common voltage input through second input units to second pixel common line patterns formed in second pixel units.

Liquid crystal display

A liquid crystal display is provided. In the liquid crystal display, a common line includes an edge common line that is formed in a non-display area outside a display area of a liquid crystal display panel to receive a common voltage through a plurality of input units, a plurality of pixel common line patterns that are formed along edges of each of subpixels to be electrically connected to one another, and a plurality of longitudinal common lines that is electrically connected to the edge common line to apply the common voltage to the pixel common line patterns. Each of the pixel common line patterns has a mesh structure and is connected to common electrodes of the subpixels. Each of the longitudinal common lines is formed between two horizontally adjacent pixels in a direction parallel to the data lines.
