A hardware accelerator includes a block processing circuit configured to read a block from a list stored in an inverted index structure; and a search core configured to extract a document number out of a read block read by the block processing circuit and to calculate a score corresponding to the document number.

A memory system includes a memory device including memory sets and a controller including a decoder. The decoder receives multiple codewords from the memory sets and decodes the multiple codewords. The decoder determines an inter-set delay for a codeword of a select memory set. When the inter-set delay is greater than a maximum inter-set delay, the decoder determines a total decoding time based on an effective inter-set delay and an effective decoding time. The decoder outputs the decoded codeword at the end of the total decoding time.

Clothes dryer wireless moisture data transfer systems and energy-efficient methods of operation thereof are provided. One example method of operating a near field communication (NFC) tag includes determining whether a rotatable drum of a clothes dryer appliance is currently rotating. The NFC tag is secured to the drum. The method includes operating the NFC tag in an ultra-low power mode when it is determined that the drum is not currently rotating. The method includes periodically switching the NFC tag between a normal mode and a low power mode when it is determined that the drum is currently rotating.
