An electronic apparatus is provided. The electronic apparatus includes a housing which comprises a front surface plate, a rear surface plate oriented in the opposite direction to the front surface plate, and a side surface member surrounding the space between the front surface plate and the rear surface plate, at least a portion of the side surface member including at least one conductive section positioned between a first non-conductive section and a second non-conductive section which are spaced apart from each other, a conductive extended portion part extending from at least a partial area of the conductive section to the space, a printed circuit board disposed in the space, and a wireless communication circuit disposed on the printed circuit board and electrically connected a point which is in the conductive section and spaced toward a first location from the first non-conductive section.

Various embodiments of the present invention relate to an apparatus and a method for identifying wireless charging status information in an electronic device. An electronic device may include a housing including a first plate, a second plate facing away from the first plate, and a side surface member for at least partially surrounding a space between the first plate and the second plate, a display positioned in the space and viewed through the first plate, a conductive coil parallel to the second plate and disposed between the display and the second plate, a wireless charging circuit electrically connected to the conductive coil, a sensor circuit electrically connected to the wireless charging circuit and the conductive coil, and a processor operatively connected with the display, the wireless charging circuit and the sensor circuit, wherein the sensor circuit may receive a first analog ping signal for wireless charging from an external electronic device, through the conductive coil, receive at least one second analog ping signal within a time selected after the first analog ping signal received, count the number of the second analog ping signals received within the selected time, and provide a notification signal to the processor if the number exceeds a first threshold. Other embodiments are also possible.

Method for confirming state information of wireless charging, and electronic device therefor

According to an embodiment of the present invention, an electronic device may include: a foldable housing including a hinge structure, a first housing structure, and a second housing structure, wherein the hinge structure includes at least one first conductive portion, the first housing structure is connected to the hinge structure and includes a first surface oriented in a first direction, a second surface oriented in a second direction opposite the first direction, and a first side member surrounding at least a part of a space between the first surface and the second surface and including at least one second conductive portion, the second housing structure is connected to the hinge structure, includes a third surface oriented in a third direction, a fourth surface oriented in a fourth direction opposite the third direction, and a second side member surrounding at least a part of a space between the third surface and the fourth surface, and is folded onto the first housing structure about the hinge structure, the first surface faces the third surface in a folded state of the foldable housing, and the third direction is identical to the first direction in an unfolded state of the foldable housing; a flexible display extending from the first surface to the third surface; and a wireless communication circuit electrically connected to the first conductive portion in the folded state of the foldable housing, and electrically connected to the second conductive portion in the unfolded state of the foldable housing, wherein the wireless communication circuit is configured to transmit and/or receive a signal having a selected frequency. Various other embodiments may be possible.

An electronic device is provided, the device comprising a foldable housing comprising a hinge structure, a first housing structure connected thereto and including a first surface facing in a first direction, a second surface facing in a second direction opposite the first direction, and a first side member encompassing a space between the first and second surfaces and including at least one first conductive part, and a second housing structure connected to the hinge structure, including a third surface facing in a third direction, a fourth surface facing in a fourth direction opposite the third direction, and a second side member encompassing a space between the third and fourth surfaces and including at least one second conductive part, and folded with the first housing structure around the hinge structure. A flexible display extends from the first surface to the third surface, and a wireless communication circuit electrically connects to the second conductive part and is configured to transmit or receive a signal having a specified frequency. The first surface faces the third surface in a folded state, the third direction is the same as the first direction in an unfolded state, and the first conductive part and the second conductive part are electrically connected in the folded state.
