According to one embodiment of the present invention, a method by which a base station of a wireless communication system using a two-dimensional X-Pol antenna requests feedback information, can comprise the steps of: generating control information for commanding the generation of the feedback information and channel state information (CSI) process information on vertical axes and horizontal axes of a specific planar antenna and respective planar antennas of the two-dimensional X-Pol antenna; transmitting the generated control information to a terminal in the base station; generating and transmitting a reference signal corresponding to the CSI process; and receiving, from at least one terminal, feedback information in correspondence to the number of CSI processes.

Method and device for providing feedback signal in wireless communication system using two-dimensional antenna

An apparatus and method is proved that transmits and receives Reference Signals (RSs) in a wireless communication system using Multiple-Input and Multiple-Output (MIMO). A system adapted to the method is provided. The method includes: determining the number of RS transmission to two or more antennas, respectively, as the number of antennas included in respective ports, wherein each port include one or more antennas; creating transmit patterns so that they cyclically differ from each other every the number of RS transmission to transmit the created transmit patterns the number of RS transmission times; and mapping the RSs to one or more antennas according to the created, respective patterns, and transmitting the RSs in order.

According to an embodiment of the present invention, a method for transmitting a synchronization signal by a base station in a filter bank multi carrier (FBMC) system and a base station using the same may be provided, the method comprising the steps of: generating a frequency-domain quadrature amplitude modulation (QAM) symbol sequence having a length of k for a synchronization signal; mapping the QAM symbol sequence to a sub-carrier of a filter bank on the basis of the correlation characteristic of the synchronization signal; generating a quadrature amplitude modulation-filter bank multicarrier (QAM-FBMC) symbol including the synchronization signal on the basis of the mapping, and transmitting the generated QAM-FBMC symbol. In addition, a terminal communicating with the base station and an operation method for the terminal may be provided.

A Virtual Antenna Mapping (VAM) method of a base station and a transmission apparatus equipped with M physical antennas and Q Transceiver Units (TXRUs) are provided. Apparatus and method for channel aggregation and guard channel indication for visible light communication

A PPB-CM communication system and method. The PPB-CM communication system includes a transmitter which splits a symbol period, which is a transmission unit of a communication signal, into at least a pair of parts, inserts a data signal into one of the parts, and transmits a communication signal having the data signal inserted; and a receiver which receives the communication signal from the transmitter and determines bit information of the symbol period according to which part of the symbol period has the data signal inserted, as determined by comparison of energy levels of the parts. Accordingly, a separate threshold is not required to determine the data bit of the symbol period. Thus, the communication signal can be accurately determined. Also, the communication system can be simply implemented without need of a delay line.
