The present exemplary embodiments relate to a touch display device and a driving method thereof. A touch sensing time period is divided into a period when the touch is sensed by a self capacitive sensing manner and a period when the touch is sensed by a mutual capacitive sensing manner and a ground signal modulated to be the same as the touch driving signal is output to the display panel during the time period when the touch is sensed by the self capacitive sensing manner.
