A display device according to an example of the present disclosure includes a substrate on which a plurality of sub-pixels are defined; a plurality of LEDs including a first LED, a second LED, and a third LED that are disposed in the plurality of respective sub-pixels on the substrate; and at least one buffer layer disposed between the first LED and the substrate, wherein the first LED is in contact with an upper surface of the at least one buffer layer, and the second LED and the third LED are in contact with an upper surface of the substrate. Accordingly, the plurality of LEDs emitting light of different colors using the buffer layer can be respectively formed on one substrate, thereby allow for omission of a transfer process.

Display device and method of manufacturing the same

A display device comprises a substrate having a plurality of sub-pixels; a plurality of LEDs respectively disposed in the plurality of sub-pixels, wherein each of the LEDs comprises an emissive layer, a first semiconductor layer between the substrate and the emissive layer and a second semiconductor layer on the emissive layer; a plurality of driving units disposed under the substrate in each of the sub-pixels; and a plurality of connection units penetrating the substrate and electrically connecting at least one of the first semiconductor layer and the second semiconductor layer with the plurality of driving units.

Display device and method of fabricating the same

Provided is a display device. The display device includes a substrate having a sub-pixel area. In some examples, the substrate may have or define a plurality of sub-pixel areas. A light-emitting diode (LED) and a thin-film transistor for driving the LED are disposed in the sub-pixel area. An extended light path layer is disposed on the substrate and is configured to surround the sub-pixel area. Accordingly, it is possible so as to improve the luminous efficiency of the display device.
