The present invention relates to a mobile terminal comprising: a terminal body; a cover covering the terminal body and having a slit formed in one area thereof; and an elastic body provided on the slit and having both ends coupled to the cover adjacent to the slit. When an external force is applied to the cover, the elastic body is elastically deformed while being coupled to the cover.

A mobile terminal can include a display; a case including a conductive member having a first section and a second section, the first section having a first lateral surface and the second section having a second lateral surface; a dielectric member separating the first section from the second section; a gap formed between the first lateral surface and the second lateral surface; and a first cavity extending into the first lateral surface of the first section, in which the dielectric member fills the gap and the first cavity.

A mobile terminal includes a terminal body, and a manipulating portion disposed on one side surface of the terminal body, wherein the manipulating portion includes: a substrate having a first contact point and a second contact point; and a conductive dome configured to conduct the first and second contact points when being pressed, wherein the first and second contact points are spaced from each other on the substrate in a first direction, and wherein the second contact point portion is not disposed in a second direction crossing the first direction. In addition, the key-shaped parts and the film part are integrally formed together.

Mobile terminal and keypad manufacturing method thereof

A mobile terminal includes a first body including a front case and a display disposed in the front case, a second body slidably mounted on the first body and a slide module including a slider mounted on the second body. The mobile terminal also includes a guide portion provided to the front case of the first body to guide a slide motion of the slider.

A slide module and mobile terminal including the same are disclosed. The slide module may include a first plate, a plurality of sliders mounted on the first plate and spaced apart from each other with a predetermined spacing therebetween, a guide plate configured to guide slidable movement of each of the plurality of sliders, and a second plate having the guide plate fixed thereto. With this structure, fluctuation and looseness may be prevented from being generated between two bodies in the course of switching between open or closed configurations by a slide mechanism. Further, a luxurious exterior may be provided by loading the slide module within each body so as not to be externally exposed in an open configuration.

Slide module and mobile terminal having the same

A portable terminal including a first body, a second body having a manipulation portion formed on one surface thereof, the second body being slidably connected to the first body such that the first body is moveable between a closed configuration covering the manipulation portion and an open configuration exposing the manipulation portion, and a slide module connecting the first body to the second body. The slide module includes a tilting unit configured to tilt the first body with respect to the second body at a predetermined angle in the open configuration and a slide member configured to slidably connect the first and second bodies to each other. The slide module imparts a first motion to the first body during movement across a first region of the second body and imparts a second motion different from the first motion to the first body during movement across a second region of the second body. The second motion includes a tilting motion of the first body with respect to the second body.
