A display device includes a display panel having a plurality of pixels. The device includes a data driver configured to supply a data voltage to the plurality of pixels via a plurality of data lines using a sensing result of the plurality of pixels via a first reference voltage line, a second reference voltage line, and a third reference line. The device includes a gate driver configured to supply a gate signal to the plurality of pixels via a plurality of gate lines. Each of the plurality of data lines is branched into a plurality of sub data lines and each of the plurality of sub data lines is connected to a plurality of sub pixels having the same color. The reference voltage lines are connected to the plurality of sub pixels. The device improves a sensing speed of the sub pixel.

Display device

A display device can include a display panel including a plurality of pixels configured to be driven in one of a driving period and a blank period, a timing controller configured to output a variable refresh rate (VRR) signal determining a refresh rate of the plurality of pixels and a video data signal, and a data driver configured to supply a data voltage to the plurality of pixels through a plurality of data lines, according to the VRR signal and the video data signal. The plurality of pixels can be driven at a first refresh rate or a second refresh rate which is lower than the first refresh rate, according to the VRR signal. Further, when the plurality of pixels are driven at the second refresh rate and the video data signal is a low grayscale video data signal, the output luminance of each of the plurality of pixels can be reduced during the blank period.

An electroluminescent display device includes a display panel in which a plurality of pixels are disposed, each pixel including a first sub pixel, a second sub pixel, a third sub pixel, and a fourth sub pixel each having a different color; a data driver which supplies a data voltage to the plurality of pixels by means of a plurality of data lines; and a gate driver which supplies a gate signal to the plurality of pixels by means of a plurality of gate lines. Each of the plurality of data lines is divided into a plurality of sub data lines, and each of the plurality of sub data lines is connected to a plurality of sub pixels having the same color, the sub pixel includes a switching transistor, and a source electrode of the switching transistor includes a compensation pattern which is provided on at least one side of the source electrode spaced apart from the gate line, thereby improving luminance difference between sub pixels having the same color which are converted by the exposure overlay shift of the gate line.

Electroluminescent display device

A display device may comprise a substrate which includes a display area including a first pixel and a non-display area including a second pixel, a first data line which is disposed on the substrate and applies a data signal to the first pixel, a second data line which is disposed on the substrate and applies a data signal to the second pixel and a gate line which is disposed on the substrate and applies gate signals to the first pixel and the second pixel at the same timing, wherein the first pixel and the second pixel have different area from each other.

Liquid crystal display device

Discussed is a display device including: an upper substrate having gate and data lines; a lower substrate on a lower surface of the upper substrate with exposing a part of the lower surface of the upper substrate; and a first reflection preventing layer overlapping with the gate line, and a second reflection preventing layer overlapping with the data line are formed on the upper substrate so as to prevent reflection of external light being reflected by the gate line and data line.

Disclosed is a display device. The display device includes an upper substrate; a lower substrate having gate and data lines, with exposing a part of the lower surface of the upper substrate; a sealant for adhering the upper substrate to the lower substrate; a panel driver connected to the part of a lower surface of the upper substrate; a pad formed on the lower substrate, for applying a signal to the gate and data lines; and a connection part formed on the upper substrate, for connecting the pad and the panel driver. The first and second substrates face each other. The gate lines and data lines are formed on the first substrate to define a plurality of pixels by an intersection therebetween. The connection line is formed on the first substrate to be electrically connected to the gate line. The signal line is formed on the second substrate for supplying a signal to the gate line. The first bridge is formed on the second substrate for electrically connecting the signal line and the connection line.
