A display device can include a plurality of sub-pixels disposed on a substrate; a storage capacitor disposed in each of the plurality of sub-pixels; a buffer layer disposed on the storage capacitor; a transistor disposed on the buffer layer in each of the plurality of sub-pixels; and a light emitting element disposed on the transistor in each the plurality of sub-pixels, in which the plurality of sub-pixels include a first sub-pixel, a second sub-pixel, and a third sub-pixel, each of the first, second and third sub-pixels being configured to emit a different color of light, at least one of the plurality of sub-pixels includes a metal layer disposed below the transistor, and the metal layer is connected to one electrode of the storage capacitor.

A display device can include a display panel including a plurality of data lines, a plurality of scan lines, a plurality of light emission control lines, and a plurality of sub-pixels; a first driving circuit configured to drive the plurality of data lines; a second driving circuit configured to drive the plurality of scan lines; and a third driving circuit configured to drive the plurality of light emission control lines, in which the display panel includes an active area in which an image is displayed and a non-active area which is an edge area of the active area.

A display panel and a display device. A driving voltage line disposed in an active area is disposed to overlap a reference voltage line. The aperture ratio of a display panel is improved, and the transparency of a transparent display device is improved. The width of the driving voltage line disposed in the display panel gradually decreases in a direction away from a driver circuit supplying a driving voltage. Differences in the variation of the driving voltage according to the areas of the display panel are reduced, thereby improving brightness uniformity of the display panel according to the areas of the display panel.

According to the embodiments of the present disclosure, an ultrasonic sensor, an ultrasonic sensing device, a display device, and a biometric information sensing method are provided, in which a first transistor and a second transistor disposed in respective pixels adjacent to each other are driven by a same scan line, and the first transistor controlling the application of a high voltage and the second transistor controlling sensing are configured with different channel types; therefore, a driving interval for generating ultrasonic waves is separated in time from a sensing interval for sensing reflected ultrasonic waves. Accordingly, an interval for applying the high voltage is reduced; therefore, power consumption can be reduced, and the degradation of components constituting the ultrasonic sensor can be overcome or reduced. In addition, sensing can be performed in an area in which ultrasonic waves are generated; thus, sensing sensitivity can be improved.

A display panel having a touch sensor includes a pixel array, touch sensor blocks, a touch inspection pad unit, and an image inspection pad unit. In the pixel array, a plurality of pixels is disposed in a matrix form. The touch sensor blocks are connected to respective pluralities of the pixels in the pixel array. The touch inspection pad unit divides the touch sensor blocks into odd-numbered touch sensor blocks and even-numbered touch sensor blocks and a first touch inspection pad is coupled to the odd-numbered touch sensor blocks, while a second touch inspection pad is coupled to the odd-numbered touch sensor blocks. The image inspection pad part is commonly coupled to the odd-numbered touch sensor blocks and the even-numbered touch sensor blocks.

A disclosed display device comprises a data line of a display panel, a first switching circuit of the display panel, the first switching circuit including an input and a transistor to pass a test voltage from the input of the first switching circuit to a transistor electrode of the transistor, and a bridge pattern of the display panel, the bridge pattern electrically connecting the transistor electrode to the data line, the bridge pattern being in a different layer of the display panel than the transistor electrode.
