Provided is a method of occupying a channel in a wireless communication system that supports an unlicensed band. The method comprising detecting an earlier point among a first point at which transmission of a first subframe in a first channel is completed and a second point at which a busy state of a second channel is terminated. The method further comprising determining a type of a second subframe based on at least one of a result of the detecting or first transmit power for the first channel, transmitting the second subframe of the determined type in the first channel after transmission of the first subframe is completed, and transmitting a third subframe in the first channel and a fourth subframe in the second channel, after transmission of the second subframe is completed.

Method and apparatus for occupying channel of unlicensed band in wireless communication system

A communication method using a plurality of channels in a wireless communication system supporting an unlicensed band. The communication method includes: performing listen-before-talk (LBT) for transmitting a random access preamble on each of a plurality of control channels supported by a user equipment (UE), from among a plurality of control channels supported by a base station; transmitting a random access preamble through a control channel where the LBT succeeded from among the plurality of control channels where the LBT for transmitting the random access preamble is performed; and receiving a random access response (RAR) through a control channel determined according to a result of the LBT performed by the base station, from among the plurality of control channels supported by the UE, wherein a control channel is a channel through which a control signal and a data signal are transmitted and received.

Communication method and apparatus using multiple channels in unlicensed band

The present disclosure is related to a 5th Generation (5G) or pre-5G communication system for supporting a higher data rate than a 4th Generation (4G) communication system such as Long Term Evolution (LTE). A method for operating a terminal in a wireless communication system is provided which includes receiving downlink data from a base station; performing listen-before-talk (LBT) for uplink transmission; transmitting a first reservation signal based on an end timing of the LBT and a subframe boundary; and transmitting uplink data to the base station based on the subframe boundary.

In the method, a contention sub-slot and a dedicated sub-slot are determined for each station connected to the access point, a data trigger action frame is generated based on a first element including allocation information on the dedicated sub-slot to be used by a related station in a buffer status report (BSR) phase where each of the stations transmits buffer status information to the access point, the generated data trigger action frame is broadcasted to the stations, and a BSR frame transmitted based on the data trigger action frame is received from each of the stations.
