A signal processing device and a display apparatus for vehicles including the same are disclosed. The signal processing device includes a processor configured to process a signal for a display mounted in a vehicle, wherein the processor is configured to execute first to third virtual machines on a hypervisor in the processor, the second virtual machine is operated for a first display, the third virtual machine is operated for a second display, and the first virtual machine in the processor is configured to control a shared memory based on the hypervisor for transmission of identical data to the second virtual machine and the third virtual machine. Consequently, it is possible for a plurality of displays in the vehicle to display identical images in a synchronized state.

Signal processing device and display apparatus for vehicles including the same

A display apparatus for a vehicle includes: a first display and a second display configured to be located in the vehicle, a first signal processing device comprising a first processor configured to perform signal processing for at least one of the first display or the second display, and a second signal processing device comprising a second processor configured to perform signal processing. The first processor is configured to execute a server virtual machine and a guest virtual machine, and the second processor is configured to execute at least one guest virtual machine.

A display apparatus for a vehicle includes: first, second, and third displays located in the vehicle, a first signal processing device comprising a first processor configured to perform signal processing for the first display and the second display, and a second signal processing device comprising a second processor configured to perform signal processing for the third display. The first processor is configured to execute first, second, and third virtual machines on a hypervisor in the first processor. Specifically, proposed is a device provided to a vehicle, the device comprising: a plurality of system on chips (SoCs) which execute at least one application and are connected via a predetermined input/output interface; and a display which is provided in the vehicle and outputs an execution screen of the at least one application. The present disclosure relates to a vehicle display apparatus. The vehicle display apparatus according to an embodiment of the present disclosure comprises: a first display and a second display mounted in a vehicle; a signal processing device configured to perform signal processing for at least one of the first display or the second display; and a second signal processing device configured to perform signal processing, wherein the signal processing device is configured to determine whether the second signal processing device is a master device or a slave device, based on number information of processors in the second signal processing device and information on support of non-uniform memory access.
