According to one embodiment, a method for providing a sound for sleep induction may include an operation of providing a first sound corresponding to a first user activity based on detecting the first user activity associated with user cognition regarding a period for inhalation of the user's breathing. The first user activity may be a user activity independent of the inhalation rather than a user activity caused by the inhalation of the breathing, and a start time point of providing the first sound may be substantially synchronized with a detection time point of the first user activity. The method may include an operation of providing a second sound corresponding to a second user activity based on detecting the second user activity associated with user cognition regarding a period for exhalation of the user's breathing. The second user activity may be a user activity independent of the exhalation rather than a user activity caused by the exhalation of the breathing, and a start time point of providing the second sound may be substantially synchronized with a detection time point of the second user activity.

The disclosure relates to a radar device for a vehicle, enabling to determine a target satisfying a pairing condition for finding an intersection point by using a combination of a pair of up-chirp and down-chirp signals with an added down-chirp signal, without an additional hardware resource. The present invention relates to a radar device for a vehicle which may determine a target as a single target or multiple targets according to a dispersion level of a slope for each reception channel, calculated through a phase difference for each reception channel of a reflection signal and an arrangement interval for each reception channel, and estimate the angle of the target so as to acquire the angle of the target using a small amount of calculations, and a method for estimating the angle of a target using the same. An embodiment of the present invention provides a radar device for a vehicle, which detects a target located in the front side of a vehicle, comprising an electronic control unit configured to: calculate the slope of a reflection signal received for each reception channel, using a phase difference for each reception channel of the reflection signal and an arrangement interval for each reception channel, wherein the reflection signal is obtained by transmitting a predetermined transmission signal and receiving the transmitted transmission signal which is reflected back from the target; and determine the target as a single target or multiple targets according to a dispersion level of the calculated slope so as to estimate the angle to the determined target.

The present disclosure relates to a method and apparatus for detecting a target object by a radar device for a vehicle. The method includes recognizing the situation that causes the deterioration in the function of a radar, and preventing the performance from deterioration through a signal processing technology. The apparatus includes: a signal transmitting unit that transmits a transmission signal for detecting a target object; a signal receiving unit that receives a reception signal generated by a reflection of the transmission signal; a signal analyzing unit that calculates frequency spectrum information of the reception signal, and extracts periodicity information for determining a periodicity of the frequency spectrum information; a determining unit that determines whether a clutter structure exists; and a target detecting unit that detects a target object by deleting a peak value component of the periodicity information when it is determined that the clutter structure exists.
