Technology for generating thumbnail images is provided. In one example, a thumbnail image generation method may include receiving a request to generate a thumbnail image of an electronic page. The electronic page may be analyzed to identify content features of the electronic page. A determination of changes to make to a copy of the electronic page may be made based on the content features to form a modified electronic page. The thumbnail image for the electronic page may be generated using at least a portion of the modified electronic page.

One or more first data representations of the one or more first document elements may then be generated. One or more second document elements may then be determined from within a second (i.e., reloaded) document version. One or more second data representations of the one or more second document elements may then be generated. At least one association between at least one of the one or more first data representations and at least one of the one or more of the second data representations may then be determined. A second scroll position for display of the second document version may then be determined based, at least in part, on the at least one association.

Techniques for browser-based workflows are described herein. In some examples, various actions performed within a web browsing application may be tracked. The tracked actions may include actions such as entering a page address, loading a page, entering a search term, entering identity authentication information, selecting a link, selecting an input element, and other actions. A set of actions included within the tracked actions may be selected for association with a workflow, for example based on a determination that the set of actions has been performed at least twice. In some examples, the set of actions associated with the workflow may include loading a page and performing one or more actions on the loaded page. Information indicating the workflow and its associated set of actions may be stored. Upon receiving a request to execute the workflow, the information may be retrieved, and the associated set of actions may be performed.

A vehicle safety system for preventing inadvertent acceleration of a vehicle by a driver is provided. The vehicle includes an engine that supplies power to move the vehicle, a transmission that transmits power from the engine to wheels of the vehicle, an acceleration module that controls the engine to increase power, and a brake module that slows down or stop the vehicle. The acceleration module includes an accelerator pedal that receives pressure applied by the driver, and the brake module includes a brake pedal that receives pressure applied by the driver. The system includes a pressure sensor that senses pressure applied to the accelerator pedal, and a control circuit that is connected to the pressure sensor and the vehicle. The control circuit is activated to prevent inadvertent acceleration of the vehicle when the pressure sensed by the pressure sensor exceeds a predetermined safety threshold.

An automated system lifts a batch of semiconductor wafers from a slotted carrier, transfers them laterally and lowers them into a second slotted carrier. In doing this, jaws on the lifting apparatus open automatically to receive or release the wafers. With a carrier having relatively high slotted sides, such as the commonly used plastic cassette, a pusher engages the lower edge of the wafers exposed through the bottom of the cassette and pushes them upwardly sufficiently far to permit the lifter jaws to receive and lift the wafers. The apparatus is oriented at a slight angle to insure that the wafers are all arranged in precise, spaced, parallel relation so as to cooperate with slots in the lifter jaws and slots in the receiving carrier. The system has the capability to move two batches of 25 wafers to a quartz boat having 50 more-closely spaced slots, and similarly, two batches from a quartz boat may be transferred to two different plastic cassettes.
