Disclosed are an acryl-silicone-based hybrid emulsion adhesive composition and a method of preparing the same. Particularly, an acryl-silicone-based hybrid emulsion adhesive composition that includes an acrylic emulsion resin prepared by emulsion polymerization of an acrylic monomer mixture and a seed formed of a reactive silicone resin and thus has high weather resistance and heat resistance and a method of preparing the same are provided.

Disclosed are an acrylic emulsion pressure-sensitive adhesive (PSA) composition and a method of preparing the same. The acrylic emulsion PSA composition with high solid content and high stability includes latex particles in which at least three anionic emulsifiers cover polymer particulates including: a (meth)acrylic acid ester monomer having a C-Calkyl group as a main monomer; at least one monomer selected from the group consisting of a monomer having an allyl ester group, a vinyl ester group, an unsaturated ester group, or a mixture thereof, a cyano group containing monomer, an amine group containing monomer, and a styrenic monomer having a vinyl group, as an auxiliary monomer; a monomer having a carboxyl group and/or a hydroxyl group as a functional monomer; and a crosslinking agent, wherein the latex particles have a nanometer scale average particle diameter and monomodal particle size distribution.

Provided is an adhesive composition for a protective film including an acrylic emulsion resin capable of providing contamination resistance on the film and low peel strength and minimizing generation of static electricity during peeling of the protective film. The acrylic emulsion resin includes a mixture including 80 to 99.9% by weight of a polymer of a (meth)acrylic acid ester monomer including a C-Calkyl group and a (meth)acrylic acid ester monomer including an alkylene oxide unit, and 0.1 to 20% by weight of a monomer including a carboxyl group and/or a hydroxyl group or a combination thereof, and 5 to 30 parts by weight of a reactive emulsifier having a double bond structure radical-polymerizable with the polymer and including an alkylene oxide unit based on 100 parts by weight of the mixture.
