Apparatus and method for proximity touch sensing

The present invention provides a method of securing freight containers on a deck of a large ship, and a spring lashing bar, a space adjuster and a securing system used in the method. In the method of the present invention, a movable lift is installed on a rail provided on a lashing bridge so as to be movable in a horizontal direction and a vertical direction. Freight containers are aligned with each other using tensile force generated in a horizontal direction by a container aligning device provided on a work table provided on the movable lift. The freight containers are coupled to each other using twistlocks in a vertical direction. Subsequently, adjacent left and right containers are coupled to each other using couplers and variable type coupling devices such that the freight containers are integrated with each other along an entire width of the ship or some width thereof.

Disclosed herein is an LNG transferring arm. The LNG transferring arm includes a cylindrical support base. A main body is rotatably provided on the support base. A boom assembly is connected to a side of the main body to rotate up and down. A support assembly supports the boom assembly and is bent along with the boom assembly. A transfer pipe and a return pipe are arranged along the boom assembly. An end of each of the transfer pipe and the return pipe is connected to a tank to which LNG will be transferred. A balance weight is rotatably supported above the main body via a bracket, and is hinged at one end thereof to the boom assembly, thus maintaining balance. A rotary branch means is provided in the main body, and includes two pipes having different diameters and arranged concentrically.

A floating combined cycle power plant includes a plurality of watertight bulkheads placed in a hull, having a structure suitable for being moved at sea, to the height of the freeboard deck; a power generating means for generating electricity, and a duct arranged to pass over the freeboard deck. The floating combined cycle power plant further includes: a fuel tank provided in the rear part of the hull and to supply the stored fuel to the power generating means; a carburetor unit provided in front of the fuel; and a loading unit provided in back of the fuel tank to receive fuel from a source and to store it in the fuel tank.

A floating power plant includes a hull having a structure suitable for being movable at sea; a plurality of watertight bulkheads placed in the hull to a height of a freeboard deck, thus partitioning the interior of the hull into a plurality of watertight chambers; a power generating equipment for generating electricity, the power generating equipment including a plurality of parts separately installed in the watertight chambers; and a duct arranged to pass over the freeboard deck to couple the parts of the power generating equipment installed in the watertight chambers to each other. The floating power plant can economically supply electricity to a specific district or to a specific facility that temporarily uses electricity, and can minimize limitations caused by environmental regulations, and can be used as an emergency electric power source.
