The dielectric composition including: a BaTiO-based main ingredient; a first auxiliary ingredient including rare earth elements; and a second auxiliary ingredient including at least one of Ba and Ca but essentially including Ba, wherein the rare earth elements include Tb and Dy, and the first auxiliary ingredient and the second auxiliary ingredient satisfy a molar content condition of 0.40<(Tb/T_RE)*(Ba+Ca)<0.93, where T_RE is a total molar content of the rare earth elements in the first auxiliary ingredient.

A dielectric composition and a multilayer capacitor including the same are provided. The dielectric composition includes a BaTiO-base main component, a first subcomponent including an Nb component and a Gd component, a second subcomponent including an Mg component, and a third subcomponent including a Ba component and a Ca component. The first subcomponent is included in an amount of 4 moles or less per 100 moles of the main component. A multilayer ceramic electronic component includes: a ceramic body having a capacitance formation portion, and including a dielectric layer and a first internal electrode and a second internal electrode with the dielectric layer interposed therebetween, a first margin portion disposed on the surface of the capacitance formation portion, and a second margin portion disposed on the other surface of the capacitance formation portion; a first external electrode; and a second external electrode. A following formula 1 is satisfied, [formula 1]&#x2212;0.1&#x2264;(Tm&#x2212;Ta)/Ta, where in the formula 1, Tm is an average height of a central region of the margin portion, and Ta is an average height of an outer region of the capacitance formation portion in a second direction.
