The present invention relates to a novel use for HDL-ApoM-S1P (a high density lipoprotein in which apolipoprotein M is impregnated with sphingosine-1-phosphate), and more particularly, to using HDL-ApoM-S1P to prevent, improve, or treat degenerative brain disorders (in particular, Alzheimer's disease), cognitive disorders, learning disabilities, and memory disorders, and using HDL-ApoM-S1P to improve cognitive ability, learning ability, and memory. The HDL-ApoM-S1P according to the present invention not only alleviates neuroinflammation but also significantly exhibits improvement effects of cognitive disorder, learning disability, and memory disorder with respect to individuals suffering from degenerative brain disorders (in particular, Alzheimer's disease), and exhibits an effect of greatly reducing amyloid beta and tau deposition. Moreover, increased HDL-ApoM-S1P in the body also has an excellent effect of improving the cognitive, learning, and memory abilities of non-disabled individuals.

The present invention relates to a pharmaceutical composition for preventing or treating osteoporosis which comprises neuropeptide Y as an active ingredient. The neuropeptide Y according to the present invention reduces the expression of a cell adhesion factor in osteoblasts in which a Y1 receptor is present, and consequently an effect of releasing a haematopoietic stem cell from bone marrow into the blood is excellent. When a haematopoietic stem cell is released into the blood, the number of osteoclasts which induce an osteoporotic lesion by differentiation from the haematopoietic stem cell decreases, and thus progression of a bone erosion caused by osteoclasts can be prevented. Accordingly, the neuropeptide Y which is an active ingredient of the composition of the present invention is useful as a therapeutic agent for osteoporosis.

The present disclosure provides a porous polymer membrane having a covalent network structure and a method for producing the same. The method includes: polymerizing a first monomer having four first functional groups oriented in a tetrahedral arrangement with a second monomer having at least two second functional groups to prepare porous organic framework nanoparticles; mixing the solution of the porous organic framework nanoparticles with a polymer; and applying the mixed solution to a substrate, followed by heating to form a polymer matrix containing the nanoparticles. According to the method, a polymer membrane with excellent chemical stability, heat resistance, durability and permeability can be produced through simple processes. Advantageously, the porous structure of the polymer membrane can be easily modified depending on intended applications of the polymer membrane.
